Somehow, I feel that I'll better appreciate the secret characters once Sakurai formally shows them off...pretty screenshots and Sakurai's comments always make things better.
Check out Ness's new yo-yo, by the way.

I like that Sakurai will be pointing out how the 'clones' differ from the 'source' characters.

I really like how the Dojo is handling secret updates. Very kind to those who don't want to see spoilers, but want to keep visiting the site. It's also good to see that Ness is truly different to Lucas in many ways. I always knew he would be

And look how the JP/EU site looks different with the us one (slightly, yeah...)!
And yeah, nice spoiler handling job. Although i already know all fighters anyway...
With Ness being ridiculously easy to unlock, I'd have guessed much of him being today's update.
And from the format of this update, does that mean the Special Moves and Final Smash of secret fighters won't be individually introduced?

It looks like the US page layout is messed up or something. It also has a darker background image than EU/JP pages. I really like how the Dojo is handling secret updates. Very kind to those who don't want to see spoilers, but want to keep visiting the site. I agree that this is a good way to handle the secret characters, although when you click on it, it kinda makes you want to look at it more. I'll keep checking for sure ;D

I really do like this, as I do want to see the not-so-secret-any-more characters but don't want to see how to unlock them. So this works perfectly.

First of all, I am delighted at the news that Ness is returning in SSBB.
However, I'm not too keen on the idea of Ness and Lucas sharing the same special moves.
Despite not having personally played any of the Mother games, I'm willing to bet there is a bigger set of PSI moves they could have used.
Surely Sakurai could have come up with a different moveset for Lucas, to differentiate the two characters even more?

I have to agree with Sqrt. I would've been happier if Ness and Lucas were a bit more different than they are now. Maybe he could've given one of them PK Ice instead of PK Fire and PK Shield instead of PSI Magnet. Also, Ness could've had PSI Rockin' instead of Starstorm.

Just no pleasing some people, I guess.
Anyway, the "how to unlock" section certainly makes work on the AnonyFAQ a lot easier...and kind of pointless, really, but hey, what difference does it make, right? I'll still be plugging away on that for y'all.
I also appreciate how he's laying out the differences between Clones and Originals; it makes me appreciate their differences a lot more and gives me the feeling that having three characters share one similar moveset *cough* may not be as bad a concept as a lot of people are making it out to be.

TEi, I just noticed your sig quote the song "Just Got Wicked!" That's awesome.
Anyways, this is pretty cool. Ness looks so kickass in those screens.

TEi, I just noticed your sig quote the song "Just Got Wicked!" That's awesome. I love that song. ;D Cold's an awesome band and it's a shame they broke up; they're one of the multitude of groups I discovered through the Jet Set Radio games. Smilebit's American offices developed two levels exclusively for the US release of Jet Grind Radio, and (part of) Just Got Wicked was used as one of five (parts of) songs to represent said levels.
You know, just on the off chance that you ever get to play JGR. ;D

There IS no PK Ice, just PK Freeze and Lucas got that instead of Ness' PK Flash. Also PSI Magnet has aspects of PK Shield in SSB. Ness and Lucas are as different as you can make them as they pretty much use every possible Offense PSI Ability, and the rest are healing moves, PSI Magent, and PK Shield.
