There’s always one of these, huh? This is the simplest stage. It’s completely flat—no surprises here! As for the terrain, there’s just a flat platform and nothing else. There’s not much to talk about either, so let’s just look at the flow of the lovely scenery. A galaxy drifts lazily by... You start to enter a wormhole-like thingy... Then the wormhole disappears and suddenly... ...There’s a beautiful starry sky. Just as you think it’s getting dark, there’s a single glint of light. [/img][/center] Looks like the interstellar clouds start to swirl about. Then, a lovely ocean view! Actually, this place is kind of a continuation of the opening sequence... Gradually everything starts to tilt... ...It’s all upside-down, and keeps on turning... ...And then somehow it returns to the beginning. In Final Destination, the characters, who have been battling in more imaginary worlds, come closest to a real-world setting. That’s the reason why you feel like you begin far away and, bit by bit, arrive at a realistic world.
The boss Master Hand can also be found on this level.

Mmmmm, Smash Brothers in a realistic setting? Interesting notion, I must say. ^_^

But, on one hand, I feel like this was almost a wasted update. I mean, yeah, Final Destination looks awesome. But I'd have rather had a reveal of, say, another character, or an unlockable stage or something. Oh well! Updates are always good.

This update wins simply because of the use of the phrase 'wormhole thingy.' .  Not much else to say except the backgrounds nice. |

I'm not sure about this version of Final Destination. It looks too small to me to face Master Hand on, let alone have a Brawl on.
Nice to know that Master Hand is returning though, hopefully Crazy Hand will as well (though I doubt it).

I'm sure all the people who think that real Smash Bros. means to characters with no weapons at Final Destination are celebrating. I don't care that much, myself.

Im glad that this stage is back, and I love the scenery but I can't help but feel disappointed with the stage size. Good for 1 vs 1 i guess. When I saw this stage around on youtube videos I was kinda hoping it wasn't FD, but why should we care?? We have stage builder!  |
