Fans of the series are familiar with the final boss of Classic mode, the simple but deadly Master Hand!
It’s said that Master Hand is the "manifestation of creative spirit" in this world. He also gets a perfect attendance award for his appearances. If you manage to get this far, all you’ve got left to do is beat him! Bwa-hah-hah-hah-hah! Master Hand appears! Beams shoot out from four of his fingers! First he grabs you...then comes the crushing. He charges in from the back! Quick, dodge! And there’s another one to introduce—the "manifestation of destructive spirit," Crazy Hand! Here’s where the right hand and the left hand come together. They appear when:
* You arrive at the final stage and the difficulty level is set to Hard or above. * You arrive at the final stage in 9 minutes or less.
The way he walks is a bit...unusual. He drops bombs. Master Hand can’t use this move. He also writhes and thrashes around. Crazy Hand can also get together with Master Hand and perform combo attacks! Watch the patterns and learn to dodge their attacks. If you’re patient enough, you can win!
Both Master Hand and Crazy Hand are symbols of this world, but their very existence is still quite mysterious.
Oh, and by the way, Master Hand also appears in The Subspace Emissary.

FYI, the backgrounds on the pics of Master Hand and Crazy Hand were both black, but I didn't know how, or if, I could have that show up here. Glad to see them return. I've like Master Hand since he was just Wham Bam Rock in Kirby Super Star. And I loved how nonchalantly Sakurai threw in that last line. "Oh, by the way, Master Hand is in the Subspace Emissary. Lol.

Proboards, as are most other boards, do not allow background colour changing. The updates are in form of simle HTML - but unfortunately, what you can do on Proboards is even more limited. Just like you can't use black as background in the update "This world".
I can see Sakurai spoiling SSBB... Crazy Hand is supposed to be a hidden boss! I think he should mask Master Hand too, since by the time you see Master Hand you're almost for Marth/Luigi/Falcon as well - why mask up the latterbut not the former?
As for the Hands, they are too polygonic. I thought they'd be of a higher quality...

It's nice to see that Master Hand is back (it wouldn't be smash bros without him) and that Crazy also returns.
I'd have hoped that they'd have some new attacks but this seems to say that they don't (what a bummer).
Master Hand in the SSE? That sucks! Surely they could have come up with another boss character. I didn't really want to have to fight MH in the SSE as well.
Oh well, what's done is done, I suppose.

What?! You're crazy. Why would he not be in there? He's been in every Smash game, with no given story. He needed to be in the SSE.

Yes, but he's already in classic mode. He doesn't need to be in both 'story' modes, does he?

Master Hand, I can handle. Crazy Hand is too tough for me. How am I supposed to beat both at once?

Yes, but he's already in classic mode. He doesn't need to be in both 'story' modes, does he? Well, Classic mode isn't a story. It's just nonstop fighting. Maybe a bonus round or two...

Heaaavy heavy Subspace Emissary spoilers, for those who want answers now (involves other characters aside from Master Hand):
From what I can gleam from the SSE cutscenes I've watched, Master Hand is an omnipotent boss-type character whom Ganondorf works for; Ganondorf, acting uncharacteristically as the loyal-minion-type, converts the ROB Squad to detonate several Subspace Bombs all at once and within close proximity of each other, forcing the playable ROB to join with Captain Falcon, DK, Samus and a bunch of other playable characters. Later, Ganondorf recruits Bowser to Master Hand's side, only to betray him and turn him into a Trophy; Ganondorf, being more or less the last playable character who is not a trophy at that point due to existential circumstances involving the heroes, reports victory to Master Hand, only to find that his boss has been chained up by Taboo. Ganondorf attacks the Tron-wannabe, only to get his ass kicked; Master Hand gets knocked free of his restraints in the scuffle, but is too weak to do anything but lie there while Ganondorf is reduced to being a trophy in the meanwhile.
That's pretty much all I know for now. I haven't seen all the cutscenes, so there may be more that I just haven't gotten to yet.

Where do you watch these videos, TEi? The only ones I find on YouTube are just screenshot slideshows...

SPOILERS:
No, you got it wrong. Ganondorf fought Taboo before all of the heroes became trophies. Ironically, only Sonic has a REAL part in Subspace Emissary and doesn't turn into a trophy.

Where do you watch these videos, TEi? The only ones I find on YouTube are just screenshot slideshows... The YouTube user BDCool187 has a SSE video walkthrough posted up here. Even though it skips around numerically (starts at 100 and climbs upward, occasionally missing some numbers in between), it's all listed in order. It encompasses both gameplay and cutscenes, so each video is like ten minutes long.
You can also check BDCool187's profile for some non SSE gameplay videos and music.

Ahh, sorry, got it out of order. Still, the effect is the same, either way.
