Quick question about the level editor: do you have an infinite amount of blocks you can use? Basically whether or not you can jam a large grid full of tiny blocks, as long as it fits. Or is there a general limit or limit per kind of block (aka no more then 20 triangles)?

There's a limit of blocks you can put: 1) The stages comes in three sizes and you can't put blocks beyond the limits and 2) There's a bar over the screen showing how much pieces are you using, when it's filled you are done. So it's like two limits. But I didn't have any problems with the size so far, you can build Temple-sized stages without problems.

What are Smash Missiles? I've played as Samus a lot in Melee, but never noticed anything different with her missiles.

I think he just means the missles that go straight instead of tracking, when you do Smash+B instead of Side+B.
