There’s one stage where the My Music function won’t work. That stage is called "Hanenbow," from the Electroplankton game.
Beautifully colored leaves are here and there. The angles of the leaves change when you attack them. Sometimes the leaves will obstruct attacks. And this is a Hanenbow. Hanenbow jump up from the water below. The Hanenbow don’t have any effect on the players, but if they hit a leaf, they’ll make a sound and rebound. Each sound rings out pure and clear. They make sounds when they jump around, too. Depending on the angle and the patterns of the Hanenbow, the sounds will change on this artistic stage. ...But then again, the game noises are intense, so you won’t have time to notice! Well, maybe sometimes you might. If you make all the leaves red, a flower will bloom on the tree to the right!

And it even comes with its own little Electroplankton icon! PLAYABLE ELECTROPLANKTON IN BRAWL CONFIRMED!!! Sorry, it's been a long time since anyone said that... I love the fact this stage looks and sounds excellent in action - but it actually looks pretty naff in these screenshots. This is one of my favourite ideas for a level though... I loved Electroplankton for the 20 minutes I bothered to play it.

You'd think that Nesbeat would've been a better fit for a game like this.

The levels pretty boring. But making music is fun!

Just a forwarning to anyone who doesn't know: that water isn't really water, it's just a hallucination. You can't swim in it.
Also - for reasons I can't quite sort out - the same character-flattening effect used in Flat Zone/Flat Zone 2 is used here. Does that make sense to anyone, or count as a cameo of some sort?
But really, the level is pretty fun. I tend to do poorly on it, but that doesn't mean it isn't a blast.

But really, the level is pretty fun. I tend to do poorly on it, but that doesn't mean it isn't a blast. And the crates are the "futuristic" variety. So there must be a logic to the madness. I really enjoy this stage, but it's not worth fighting FFAs on. The water doesn't count as water, the platforms are tiny/difficult to fight on, and it becomes a scuffle to just survive the match. Definitely more of a 1v1/goofing off stage, which they've done before. EDIT: It's funny this gets its own icon because there are a slew of Electroplankton stickers as well, almost like Animal Crossing in that it gets a ton of crap for not having a character. Most of the stickers boost electric attack/resistance, but there might be a few others in there that do weird things. Maybe.

That's easily one of the most unique levels. I can't wait to play it when I get a Wii & Brawl.

Flip, how many Electroplankton sitckers are there? I have four and thought I had all of them. (Volvoice, Hanenbow, Nanocarp and Electroplankton.) Fry, the icon is cool, and seemingly arbitrary. It's a Nanocarp from Electroplankton. Not even the type seen in the stage! For some reason, that strikes me as funny.

No, but it's very similar to the icon on the front of the box, which is honestly the most recognisable element of Electroplankton (and what I would have used if making an icon).

Ok, this is a very wierd, gimmicky stage, and to tell the truth, this one pushes the gimmick limit. Everything about this will NOT help in a fight at all.
I like it. ;D

I feel like I may have a fifth. Four, in my opinion, is a crapton for one game though.

One thing my friends and I have noticed is that a lot of Final Smashes are pretty ineffective on this level; Pit's in particular sucks the big dong due to the pass-through floors on the leaves, since they block a lot of the Centurions and kill them.
