Apparently Ike is more popular than I thought. XD I just think he's fun.  He's definitely got weaknesses (he has massive delays after a majority of his moves, his Aether has poor horizontal range, Eruption and Quick Draw need time to warm up to their potential, his Final Smash requires a first strike to work, and it's not always a guaranteed KO, etc.), but he's just a blast to play despite that. |

To be honest - I've said Dedede is my best before, but it's not really the case because the game is so balanced. Dedede is my most used, yeah, but I'm not particularly good with him. XD;
Anyway, my best/favorite:
Falco: I've got a huge mancrush on him so I tried relearning him, due to the differences from Melee to Brawl. His basic hits are weaker and lack the same range, but they also move a bit faster. I don't really care for any of his alternate color schemes, though - I'll use "Citrus Falco" on occasion for kicks, but otherwise I'll stick with his default colors. Also, his english voice is hot.
Pit: Another character I've developed a huge mancrush on, Pit's wicked fast and can deal some good damage, if not good knockback. I try not to use his Whirling Halo attack too much 'cause it's pretty cheap (I really only use it when the opportunity presents itself), and it's satisfying to be hard to kill. (Multiple jumps and Wings of Icarus = win). I'll either use his default colors or his blue colors.
Dedede: Again, not really good with him, but I tend to survive matches without dying due to the weight and superior jumping skills, so I don't take much of a negative penalty near match's end. And while Bubblegum and Gameboy Dedede are stylish, I prefer his default colors more.
Toon Link: He's nimble, he's speedy, and he can hit like a hard motherfucker...not to mention he's my favorite Link in the whole span of the Legend of Zelda series, and WW/PH are my favorite Zelda games. His facial expressions can lead to some hilarious screenshots. I'm a big fan of his purple Four Swords Adventures tunic, since it's a nifty shade of violet - but I'll also use the Dark Toon Link colorscheme for shits and giggles on occasion, too.
Olimar: I'm not really good with him, either; he's far too technical and that's just not my style of character. But he's fun to use regardless of how much I suck with him, and his up air is fantastic. I like using his blue "Louie" colors or the red space suit outfit.
I'm also fond of using Fox, Luigi, Zero Suit Samus, Meta Knight, Wolf and a bunch more, but those are my top picks. Really, the only characters I'm awful with are Peach, Zelda, ROB and Ice Climbers.

My best are Lucas (normal color, since everyone picks Claus colors, he should have been in the game :  and Toon Link (Original Link color scheme) my Luigi (original fire Luigi) is still not as good as it used to be in Melee (I´m working on it) and Im also getting really good with DK(Blue monkey) he sure was upgraded for this game. I also use Peach, Mario, Kirby, Diddy, Zelda/Sheik and Pit and Im good with them. With the other guys I´m still average (I still haven't touched Snake and don't plan to do it in quite some time  ), |
