The issue with doing anything co-op other than Event Mode is that it counts as separate "Co-Op Score" and it doesn't count who you played as. Basically it just gives you your best combination of characters and their score for that mode; you get nothing for a reward. All-Star isn't so bad this time around, though. The Pokemon Trainer KILLS, but whatever.
Getting the transformative trophies is a bitch too, because it's really pointless when Melee just gave you Sheik/Zelda in one pop. There's not much fanfare when you get trophies this time around either, which is strange.

Oh, also - even though you can go through All-Star with two players, there's a Challenge that requires you to go through it with every character in the game alone. So don't be a dumbass (like me) and think you're being clever by doing it two at a time, cause it doesn't count those.Tei, Do you Know if this also applies to Boss mode? I know i have to beat that with all characters to get a trophy, then that will be really hard with some guys.. It's not that hard on Easy. Aeriels kick all kinds of butt with most characters on Boss Battles. It just takes forever, averaging 3.5 minutes with most characters.

Yeah, Flip and Qu pretty much hammered it down - the same principal applies for Boss Battles, but you could always take the Easy way out (like I do with most characters, since the bosses kick my ass).
