i personally would've favored some better characters to be featured as trophies from the Sonic franchise.

Trophies are kind of unblanced. Would be nice if Mother, Kid Icarus and IC got more. At least the enemies. Pluys it would have been great to have trophies for Katumora, Boney, and Duster.

The only two trophies I can think of that aren't already-existing renders are the Squitter and Expresso trophies from the DK series, and Expresso sure looks a lot like Rare's old render. I also think the President of Hocotae trophy might be a new model, but I could be wrong.

Gyarados and Mewtwo are new, I think...but yeah, the point is that they didn't spend enough time on trophies...

I'm seriously WTFing over the lack of Wario related trophies. It's all stuff you can find in Brawl; Wario's got a pretty widely-established backdrop, from both WarioLand stuff with Captain Syrup and her crew, to WarioWare, which has characters like Mona, Ashley or Jimmy T that for the most part go unmentioned. It kinda sucks. =(
Then again, it's amazing that F-Zero has as many trophies as it does. Strange that there's no mention of any F-Zero AX racers, but amazing nonetheless.

One of the AX racers gets a sticker, so it can't be rights or any thing like that. Then again, the racers who do get trophies have all been around since X, so they are the big characters in the series. The Skull does mystify me tho.
Wario's lack of trophies puzzles me. No Jimmy T. or Ashley & Red? No Mona or Captain Syrup? This is just strange.

If the WarioWare cast happened to appear in 3D in a game sometime before Brawl, chances are they'd have trophies. But this isn't so, so the Brawl crew have no WarioWare models to borrow. I really hope they don't have to rely on this lazy method come SSB4...
But personally, what really confuses me is the lack of trophies of Ultimate Chimera and the Balloon Fight fish...they do have models in the game...

Or the Ice Climber polar bear. He had one in the last game, so thats understandable. The lack of the Fish and Ultimate Chimera is, as said before, baffling. The only reason I can think of leaving out the Fish is, what are you goiing to say about it? Its a fish that eats Balloon Fighters. Just weird. |

Sakurai is lazy. Period. Would be happy to see some HAL game not reusing anything. Where's his enthusiasm to put on EVERYTHING on the site 7 years ago?  And I'm pretty unhappy to see the imbalanced trophy list. We need more Wario, more IC and perhaps more FE (Why does Sakurai hate Kaga and refuse to use anything from FE4 and FE5!? And don't counter with the inclusion of FE3 stuff; that's there just for historical reason.) Will be happier if more things get to be 3D-ified. |

See, you can write loads about it. I could also go on to describe its terrible teeth, orange colour scheme, and I didn't even mention Balloon Kid!
But yeah, the last game had a trophy for pretty much everything that appeared in the game. Where's the Condor, Polar Bear, Balloon Fight Fish, Ultimate Chimera... lazy, Sakurai. You wizzled my favourite part of Melee.
