Hello, I'm from Germany and I have to tell your that the NinDB is one of the greatest Nintendo fansites on Earth. But now the actual topic:
I noticed two sound cameos in WarioWare: Twisted! (if I hear right) which aren't mentioned on your the site, including the "Master File":
Fronk's microgame "Rock and a Hot Place": Fronk has to avoid falling rocks and lava. When the rocks emerge from the top, you hear the sound from Super Mario Bros. when a Mushroom, Fire Flower, Star, or Beanstalk emerges from a block.
The "full" mini-game "Batting Practice": By making the second Home Run (and all further ones), you'll be awared with fireworks. Though different in appearance, the sound effects heavily remind me of the sounds from Super Mario Bros., there also used for fireworks.
And a general "outside reference" in the WarioWare series, I don't know if that is suitable for NinDB: I've recently read in Wikipedia that the roundly bird Pyoro is a direct parody of Kyoro-chan, a mascot for a Morinaga chocolate brand in Japan. Both Pyoro's name and appearance are a parody of this character, which couldn't be more obvious. Watch this opening of the Kyoro-chan anime series, then you'll understand:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=FPXi0A6vZlw (Seizure Warning, it's very, er... Japanese)
If you don't want to watch this weird video, here are pics (Kyoro on the left, Pyoro on the right):
Image sources: Pyoro 1 a. 3: Sprite Database (ripped by Grim) | Pyoro 2: Super Mario Wiki | Kyoro 1: Animax | Kyoro 2 a. 3: YouTube video
So, that's all for now. And BTW, why's there no SSBB Kat & Ana avatar? Or did I miss it?
