I'm guessing Moon, Castlevania or Harvest Moon. Earthbound coming to the VC is possible as it did show up on the ESRB site.

Here's more fuel for the Earthbound fire. The ESRB gave an E rating for Earthbound on the Wii. I am now 90% convinced that we'll see Earthbound on the Virtual Console.

There would be no hinting with Disgea either, since it was announced in the issue prior to this issue. Y'know, the one with the VC poll in it.

The moon's big crater thing on the side reminds me of Zero and his eye from the Kirby series. Other than that, I don't really see anything.

Let's leave it to this, it could be a LOT of things. They put a picture with a broad number of solutions for a reason: They knew you would never figure it out, thus leaving it the surprise Nintendo wanted to be. They narrowed it down for us, but there's still many possibilities.
And I think Earthbound of the VC would be nice, but what about a whole new game? Of course, ERSB gave it a rating, but they didn't say it was the original, nor did they say it was a VC game. Just 'Earthbound' and 'E'. 'Earthbound' could just be a working title, thus explaining why it boasts the original name.

Also Nintendo still needs to see how popular the game is over here still. Even though we all now how popular it is. Also what is Itoi even working on these days? Is he still in game development? The last I heard of him was he appeared on Iron Chef (Japan) as a celebrity judge. |

Well, Itoi is an author by trade, and a minor celebrity of sorts in Japan. Wacky RPG and fishing video games are just one of his many talents  |
