I think it's gonna have to be Capcom for both for me as well. I may have bought a little more Hudson on VC, but it's Capcom who have kept me most amused for the last year.

Also, Nester, it should read by Friday, May 16th instead o fWendsday, which is the 14th. Oops! You're absolutely right! Why did I type Wednesday? Thanks for pointing that out, Qu.

Aw man missed another round. Not that one more vote to Contra would've changed much.
I'll have Konami for the first and Capcom for best developer. Just because I like 'em so much.

The Ace Attorney series is my favourite series outside of Nintendo's own. I've never been this obsessive over a series.
Although, I like it more like a TV show than a videogame though. Whenever I lose a case, I feel cheated... In fact, on the harder cases (e.g. the DS-specific version in the first game) I happily played it with GameFAQs open and lost none of the enjoyment. Sure, solving the crime myself with no help is great, but that's almost not why I'm playing it. I'm playing it to be entertained, and the characters, settings and so on are so entertaining in themselves that the game mechanics almost get in the way!

Round five is over, and that concludes this year's 3rd Party Awards! Thanks to all who voted and congratulations to the winners!
Now, go buy some third-party games! Why waste your money on Wii Fit when you could be playing Okami, No More Heroes, Zack & Wiki, Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles, Contra 4, Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword or The World Ends With You? For the steep price of Nintendo's expensive bathroom scale and yet another collection of throw-away mini-games, you could probably buy two or three or four of the aforementioned third-party titles.

Just gonna say, anyone who has Nintendo Channel can try out Ninja Gaiden DS. It's awesome.

Hmm... is Okami out in the UK yet? I'm definitely picking that one up.
