I've had this for a few years; I found it on some Japanese MIDI site where some guy would compose his own medleys and put em up for download. I've lost the link since, but I still have the coolest of the MIDIs: a Famicom Medley! So I thought I'd share it with all you wonderful people. I'm so nice www.smbhq.com/users/sss/audio/ninmedley.midI'll give you all cookies if you can name each and every title represented, too (I can! )

Please remove the "http://" if the link do not work. having that done the link will not be active. Plus, this is a 404.

Yes, the file's broken... but out of curiosity is this the one: www.planetnintendo.com/nindb/special/forum/FamicomMedley.midBecause I found this one on some Japanese site a few years ago where some guy made his own medleys of game music It's possibly the best MIDI file I've ever heard. And yes, I believe I can name all of the games.

They're easy guesses, so it's not hard to guess the games.
I've heard of this MIDI already, and it's really cool!!!!

Alright, fixed the prob. But yeah, that's it. I enjoy it once every so often when I work my way back to my MIDI collection. A really great remix, and great quality for a MIDI at that

Haha, a thread that is "so 2000s" talking about a song in a format that is "so 90s".
Googled by file name, and even searched in The Wayback Machine, and no luck. The second link is from NinDB's old domain, so with any luck Fry still has the file somewhere (or Flip).

I love that MIDI. I kept it even after deleting all the other MIDI files as MP3 became the standard.

Much thanks for reviving it!
I still keep my MIDIs around because they're editable. MP3s and other "final" forms of waveform formats can't be reused with each track intact.

This thread reminded me that I once came across a MIDI of a slow remix of the Ice Cap Zone from Sonic 3. I'm not sure how I originally stumbled upon it. Probably at some Sonic fan site back in the late '90s. But I always thought it was one of the best MIDIs I'd ever heard.
Anyway, it must've been pretty obscure, as I never found it anywhere else, not even at vgmusic.com. Google and YouTube have yielded nothing. However, after digging around some old files for a while, I found out that I still have it!
And the interesting thing is that despite being a humble MIDI, it's still probably the best remix of Ice Cap I've ever heard. I don't know who created it, but hats off to him/her.

Oh man, that song is amazing. You should check out the Michael Jackson song "Who is it" which is the inspiration. (Because he secretly did the music for Sonic 3...)

Wow, what a blast from the past! I swear I remember a different MIDI, though.
Anyone remember me? I used to be the 5th highest poster, IIRC.

How could I ever forget Mr. Molecule?
A different MIDI? Can you list some of its contents?
