I'm not sure if it's worth pointing this out, but I thought it was kind of interesting. First of all, Activision announced that the next Tony Hawk game will be exclusively on the DS, for release sometime this year. Apparently, the series is undergoing a massive overhaul, probably because they suddenly have major competition from EA's Skate. And speaking of which, EA is developing a couple of spin-offs titled "Skate It" for the Wii and DS. According to an interview at IGN, the Wii version is being co-developed by EA Montreal, the same studio that worked on SSX Blur, and will be compatible with the Wii Balance Board. Not bad. However, I can't say I'm a fan of skateboarding games. I wonder what's going on with the SSX series...

The only skateboarding game I liked was Pro Skater 2. After that, it just seemed like a repeat over and over again.
