Both are in-series, but both should worth a mention.
Cameo 1: Super Mario Sunshine
In Delfino Square, press Z and check the map. Check the info of Delfino Square, and you should see a map alongside some description. That map should be of Delfino Square's sewer system. You should see Mario's head on the map, indicating Mario's location. I don't know if you have to be underground to see this; I did it once underground but didn't try subsequently. Anyway, that head of Mario's is the head part of the sprite of small mario taken from SMAS-SMB3.
Cameo 2: Nintenddo Puzzle Collection
Clear Line Clear mode in Panel de Pon, and listen to the ending theme. Part of it is clearly taken from Tetris Attack Yoshi's theme / Yoshis Island intro / Yoshi Touch & Go title. In particular, the first 8 sets of notes (I don't know much about music notations) of Yoshi's theme in TA.

The second one might be possible, but i'm not really a genious in puzzle games. Yes that's a cameo all right. Failed to think as I read. Lol

Unfortunately, as I think you're one of the very few people I'm going to speak to who actually has this game, I am going to need confirmation above you just saying it. Could you get a recording, or point me to a downloadable music track? Because what you're saying doesn't REALLY make sense... It would have nothing to do with Yoshi's Touch & Go, and I was under the impression that Yoshi's theme in Tetris Attack was actually a Panel de Pon track - or maybe I'm confusing it with something else.

Well, exactly because it's nonsense I'm calling it a cameo! YTG isn't really what I am supposed to call it... you know, it's just that YTG Title / TA Yoshi theme / YI intro share the same musical scores. Because it's the first time I came across that, I was caught by surprise. Surely I couldn't grab my recording tool in time! And my lovely TV card is only capable for capturing analog video signal. I've always wanted to capture digital video and sound, and ultimately play games on my computer! I hate to switch between the PC and TV... I was under the impression that Yoshi's theme in Tetris Attack was actually a Panel de Pon track - or maybe I'm confusing it with something else.www.youtube.com/watch?v=mwCa2l7JF8kTetris Attack Yoshi's theme www.youtube.com/watch?v=iOYuAqjmQIoPanel de Pon Lip's theme, which remais in TA as the tutorial theme The tracks for other characters are the same, but Yoshi has a dedicated theme.
