^ Got the version from GoG, very good game, does have some minor difficult parts. Managed to beat the main story of the game though I couldn't beat one side mission, that has a really difficult time limit.
The game also got 3DS version released a few months ago.

www.nintendo.co.jp/3ds/eshop/vc/qbcj/index.htmlNothing big, but they have a Donkey Kong GBC VC on 3DS. Previously, they removed DKC1~3 from Wii VC, which I assume has to do with the expiry of their license to use the Rare logo, so it surprised me a bit to see a Donkey Kong game made available now.

That's just a demo, not the full game, right?

Unfortunately. I'd love to have gotten the full game just for being a Platinum member xD

That's just a demo, not the full game, right? Yea but it still gives you a good sense of the game. It's funny because it doesn't seem like they meant to release it ahead of time and did it just for the hell of it. My Mii actually told me the game was available for purchase already in the eshop (which it obviously isn't) so I'm sure this demo will make it to everyone when the game is actually released.

I greatly dislike the way the DS games are set up. That's going to mess with pretty much all of them.

I mentioned this in the Smash Bros board, but in case you missed it, Pac-Land and Pac-Man Collection were released on the Wii U eShop to celebrate Pac-Man's Smash Bros debut. And both games are 30% off until June 16.
The problem is, Pac-Land is the Famicom version, and Pac-Man Collection is the GBA version, which includes the original Pac-Man, Pac-Mania, Pac-Attack and Pac-Man Arrangement. If you recall, a compilation called Pac-Man Museum, which includes superior versions of all of these games and more, was supposed to come out for Wii U and 3DS, but got cancelled. (It still came out for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Steam earlier this year.) So, it feels like we're getting a little bit screwed.
Still, I might be a sucker and get one or both anyway, if for no other reason than for Pac-Man Arrangement. It's a really awesome version of Pac-Man, but it's usually overlooked and forgotten. (Shame the GBA version requires the screen to scroll.)

Oh man, this is great. I lost my copy of Pac-Man Collection somehow, and I've been seriously distraught about it. Digital collections aren't really my thing (I usually prefer to have all the individual games out on my dashboard), but I think I'll pick this one up for the nostalgia... And I don't know what version of Pac-Mania is on it, and it's obviously the best version.
Does anybody know if it's possible to hide the question mark icon on the gamepad? I don't have any GBA (VC) games, and I feel like I'm going to be seriously distracted by that thing... It's kept me on the fence for a while...

Natsune's upcoming Virtual Console games. I'm digging how much the 3DS VC is thriving.

It appears that the first 3DS eShop title with cross buy support (buy 3DS, get Wii U version for free) has appeared. If you buy the 3DS game Squids Odysssey and have a linked 3DS/Wii U NNID you will get it on the Wii U as well.
