The is the page of DDR with Mario. As long as I know, the publisher will be printed on the side of the Japanese box. However for this game, the logo of Konami is printed above the Nintendo logo, making me think of the publisher may be both Konami and Nintendo. However, if you check Konami's web site, it'll say that Nintendo published the game.

In Pokemon XD, I think that the main character is unnamed - at least this is the case in the Japanese version.
Also, Please note that the license is still copyrighted by Nintendo / Creatures, Inc / GAME FREAK, Inc.

However, the hero of Colosseum was technically unnamed, but there was a default option of "Wes" as well. Maybe it's the same.
