Considering it was released almost at launch, and is the console's premier multi-player game, I'd be more surprised if it wasn't number 1.

I'm shocked how poorly Donkey Kong Jungle Beat and F-Zero did. Sure, 200K isn't anything to scoff at. But you'd think with all the hype those games got (a lot by NOA standards), they'd have sold better.

Sales stats do make for interesting reading. Everyone loves SSBM, while Mario Sunshine, Wind Waker and Double Dash were all a bit controversial in their own ways. Glad to see it at the top of the list though... after all, this site probably wouldn't exist without it
