Herro
Also, on the SD Card reader, check if you computer has one first. You might get lucky and find out there is a slot for SD cards already on your PC. Of course, this may not be the case if you have an older computer (pre 2004). I got lucky and had on on mine, so check before making a purchase.
Also Tei, can you have pokemon from two different games in the ranch?

I find the title overall pretty relaxing. It got me to pay attention to my Pearl game for something outside of casual training/battling and I really needed the kick in the pants to finish my Dex anyways. Plus, because you can mix Miis in there as well? I got some fucking HILARIOUS pics of Hitler and Pikachu. Downright fucking awesome.

Nice pictures, does Bulbasaur have unique riding properites or something or can all the Pokemon do that in PR? The riding thing is not unique to Bulbasaur, no. I've got a picture of an Octillary riding a Ho-Oh that I haven't uploaded yet I knew someone was going Todd me for writing that.

Thank you for the warm welcomes ^^
I think the problem stems from my daughter's inability to keep the same 13 pokemon in the game! We downloaded it last night and she's already swapped out every one several times. Are the totems and attention calls an indication of experience points? It still says "7" in the Next Level spot... w/e that means.
Our laptop has a multi-reader, if we only had the right card. Ours is a Sony digi-cam and it uses a magigate. I was hoping to send them to the email addresses I have registered in my Wii, but oh well.
Thanks Again!

I guess the next step would be to ask your daughter to try keeping one set of Pokemon in the Ranch for a time and wait till the next day. Has Hayley ever addressed the ranch levelling up to you? Because that's the surefire sign it's going to happen.
Also, I'm pretty sure Hayley only brought in six to start with - I could be wrong on that, though. When you're importing Pokemon, there's a number in the bottom right corner of the screen - for you it'd be XX/20, where XX is the number you currently have on the ranch. Next time you go to import, make sure that number is 20.
Let us know how this turns out ^^
Also, falling behind in uploading screens...need to do that tonightish.

Yes, Hayley had only brought 6, but the next morning there was a seventh, and no level up. My daughter then swapped out a few, and was only able to put in 13. I ended up cheating, setting the wii's clock 12 hours ahead and got the level up. I do think the same pokemon must remain in the game for the allotted time in order to reach the next level. We're now level 11, with 136 pokemon. I guess I have to actually go catch some more, all of our pokemon are now in the Ranch except four that refused to leave because they were "worried" for me. Of course I have plenty to transfer from Fire Red and Sapphire, but that's a tedious task as I'm sure you all know! Look, ScreenShots the semi-old-fashioned way! Infernape on Dialga Pachirisu on Dialga My Daughter's Prize Pokemon (acquired from Toys R Us) And of course, my Favorite! ^^ (click for full-size)

Hey, great to hear that you solved the upgrade problem ;D And I completely forgot about porting over from the older games - I may have a few left over from my GBA saves that I could use to pad the Ranch a bit more, since I've basically deposited all of the ones that I have from my Diamond and Pearl carts.
Also, Darkrai! I'm kinda envious, I was forced to miss the Toys R' Us event that was giving him out. XD Hopefully they'll do for him what Gamestop is doing for Deoxys next week and make him a download in a couple years.

Forgot something. Dont go out buying an SD card that is over 2gigs. The Wii cant read it. Also, how is this game. Is it worth the cash?

Forgot something. Dont go out buying an SD card that is over 2gigs. The Wii cant read it. Also, how is this game. Is it worth the cash? Is the "game" worth the ten or so dollars they're charging for it? Nice pics by the way. Well, it's great if you're aiming for a full PokéDex, even better if you want to be a contemptuous collector like me and have one of every type of Pokémon there is. While Diamond and Pearl have enough room in Bebe's Computer for all 480-something, it leaves you only one box and about two rows of spare room, which makes breeding for trading or training purposes difficult, amongst other things. The Ranch also has a function where it reads the Pokedex Data you have in the DS cart you currently have plugged in; Hayley, the character running the Ranch, will then provide you hints on how and where to find certain Pokémon you haven't seen or caught. (Like, for me, it gave me the location for Finneon, Chatot [seen], and Illumise [not seen]. Later, when I caught Chatot, Hayley replaced its data with Yanma's [also not seen].) Hayley will also occasionally offer you trades for Pokémon that have moves they normally don't, making breeding a step or two easier.
The way this works is that you can only have a certain amount of Pokémon in your Ranch at a time; you start with a limit of 20, which increases to 50 once you get all 20 slots taken up. The ranch will upgrade once you pass a certain number - actually deemed as "leveling up" - allowing you to eventually store 1000 Pokémon of your choice. You can have a set number of Miis from your Mii Channel to act as Ranchers (Deadpool and Robotnik rank amongst my numbers, as you've seen), and that number will likewise increase as the Ranch levels up. However, it's exclusively a holding device; you can transport Pokémon freely between Ranch and the save file it came from on the DS cart, but you can't switch it up. Like, you import a Croagunk from Diamond; it can't go down into any Pearl cart, nor into any other Diamond cart. And if you erase the save file on that Diamond cart, you can't send the Pokémon into the new save file on the same cart.
Most of the fun you'll have is watching your Pokemon interact with the Ranchers and each other. If you'll get as much amusement in watching an Octillery ride on a Ho-Oh's head as I did, then yeah, it might be for you. But it's not a true game. It's just an interactive storage device, really.
