When looking at old trailers, you may sometimes find interesting things. I looked through the old Wii Remote (or as it was called all the way back then, the Revolution Remote) trailer from the Trade Game Show 2005, and heard sounds from games that's not been announced, but was confirmed in the trailer.
The first one is a group of girls using their controllers to catch what sounds to be flies. Doesn't it sounds like the Fly Swatter minigame from Mario Paint? If that's the case, what is/was the mouse?
The second one is seemingly a Super Mario Bros. one. A girl is sitting on couch, and wifts the controller up and down, and the classic "Jumping!" sound is heard. May this be a early beta for the Virtual Console-games maybe?
The third one is in a dark room, with light coming from the controller. A scream from a girl is heard alongside sounds from carrion crows and a scarry sound of the player opeing a door. The description fits for a Luigi's Mansion sequel, doesn't it?
The fourth one is a supposed family having a birthday party and wifting their controllers from left to right, with sounds from what may wven be from a NES game! I arn't sure of which game it is, even not if it may be from a Wii/Revolution one or a NES/Famicom/Famicom Disk System one.
There are also other things related to this. What happened to that "When you turn on the power, you will say "WOW!"" thing? And that you could download all NES- Super NES and Nintendo 64-games from the beginning BY Virtual Console? Why not the Wii Shop Channel? And why ddid they show the X and Y buttons on the controller at the TGS 2005 trailer, since it had already been removed since?

There's a few things I could add. First thing that comes to mind is Wii Music. I don't believe it was ever announced, but we did see a trailer for that as well.
Going a back to the beginning of the last generation, I remember hearing about a project called Marionette. The name was all I heard about and I never heard about it again.

Or Donkey Kong World? Or Kirby GC that was supposed to be given a Wii makeover?

I could also very easily be a tech demo to show what the controller could do. Of course, that doesn't mean Nintendo wont use them for future games.

May this be a early beta for the Virtual Console-games maybe? I remember that, it is the exact same thing movement and sounds that are also used in the "Mario jumping for coins" microgame in WarioWare: Smooth Moves, I wouldn't be too surprised if some of those demos got put in there. I know I read something ages ago saying about who at Nintendo designed the cooking demo in that trailer.
