There are two cameos from the cameo-loaded Game Boy Camera device that I couldn't find on Nintendo Database. They are: The screen that appears when data is sent to the printer (and maybe while other transfers, too) shows an animated pattern that features the diver from the Game & Watch game Octopus, holding the treasure he found. I don't know what's about the Japanese version (I have the European one). And on the printing screen, the ball bear Tamanoripuu (or Tamanoripu?) from the Game Boy game Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins is seen in both the Japanese and US version. Wikipedia has a screenshot. For some reason, I can't remember seeing this screen. Either it is different in European version or I did never look on the screen while printing... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Gameboy_Camera_regional_comparison.pngThe Japanese screen even shows the bear's name here, but it got removed in the US version. We might never know its English name...

I remember seeing a different screen as well but I do remember seeing the octopus guy and the bear on his ball but there was something else.

OK, this is really obscure, but the Sheriff cameo is a double cameo! is a reinterpretation of a Mario cameo from Family BASIC v3.0

Isn't that Sheriff cameo directly from the game though?

OK, I got it backwards then. The Family BASIC v3.0 shot is a double cameo of Mario and Sheriff.

Hmm, I dunno. It might be a reference, but it's not hard to imagine the two scenarios being developed separately. Difficult to prove.

Except that that heart design, character positions, and text positions all match. That's an awful lot of coincidences.

I wasn't too sure if it's worth posting this info but since it seems like it might be good (well the pictures maybe) for NinDB GBC section I thought it would be useful. A very rare (and US only) TLoZ OoT Game Boy Camera is up for sale on Ebay and has a few of pictures of the GBC unit itself.
