That's a nice arrangement right there. Guess I'll have to wait till someone uploads it at ffshrine. *wink wink, nudge nudge*
Also it would've been neat if they added a optional extra partymember or two next to the new dungeons. But maybe I'm just asking for too much.

Having Frog actually revert to his human form after beating Magus the second time would've been a nice touch. It always seemed silly that he didn't break the curse by defeating Magus.

Well, the game came out yesterday. Anyone pick it up yet? (another hopeful Christmas present for me)

I know that. But it was silly that it was delayed until the ending.

But it would just be wierd to have frog just turn human and still be playable, and besides, I like Frog better than Glenn, as do many other people. Which made his human appearance in Chrono Cross also weird. And it would probably have been hard to program, so they just left that plothole there.

The Glenn in Chrono Cross wasn't Frog. It was someone else named Glenn.
Anyway, looking foreword to this game. I loved Chrono Trigger.

When they remade the game, they better fix this.
Compare it to this.

Actually someone just bought that question up the composer (Yasunori Mitsuda) of that song and he has never heard of Rick Astley or Rick Rolling. (Well, he is from Japan so that's acceptable). Source. And also this comment comes GoNintendo. “Probably already discussed, but both Robo’s Theme and Never Gonna Give You Up are lifted basslines and drums from “Trapped”, an obscure ‘85 dance song.”So that probably explains the link between them.

So....I got this for Valentine's Day. And it's the same ol' Chrono Trigger we know and love. Picture the fantastic graphics, music and gameplay of the SNES original, coupled with the bonus anime cutscenes and extras the PS1 port got (minus the awful load times), a useful bottom screen interface that offers shortcuts to important menus (and a map, but that's not all that useful) and some extra dungeons and the monster arena and you've got the DS port in a nutshell. The first bonus dungeon is kinda cool, but mainly consists of fetch quests that get a little tiresome after a while (but the experience and bonus gear is nice). I haven't tried the second dungeon (you have to beat the game once to unlock it) or the arena yet, but I am very satisfied with the game and consider it definitive. Recommended!
