OK, so we know that Super Smash Bros Brawl has all those obvious cameos and references: the characters, the stages, the items, the trophies...but apart from them, has anyone found a slightly sneakier cameo? Now, I was gonna start things off with one I found, but I've forgotten what it was. Bear with me, I'll see if I can find it again  |

The blocks in stage builder (light outdoor theme) have hylan text based on how it appeared in OoT.

Here is a thread I made awhile ago... Guess it didn't really kick off  Eh, I'll just repost what I said... In the event "Diddy Kong Panic" you play as Donkey Kong and fight 15 tiny Diddy Kong's. This is a cameo of Diddy Kong racing, as the level is set in Mario Circuit, and the intro says "Why are these Diddy's so angry, did they lose a race or something?"

When you do two-player All-Star Mode, you fight two Olimars at the end: the second one is Louie's colors.

I wouldn't call it a cameo. It could be, but there is no way to be sure. Well, the problem is it's hard to prove. It COULD be a Mario Kart or DKR cameo, or it could be a coincidence. It's not very clear if it is making a reference, which is what NinDB has tried to do for a long time. |

Taboo's attacks seem to deprived from various Nintendo games. Oh and his boss music is eeerily similar to MOTHER 3's Huge Pig cyborg thingy battle music.
The attack where he grows big and blows at you looks like it's from WarioWare. And that attack where he shoots millions of liittle rock pellet things looks similar to one of Custom Robo's robo's guns(Forgot the name)
btw I think one of Captain Falcon's event matches actually refer to Viewful Joe. O.o

When you beat Classic or all-stars, the font used in the “Congratulations!“ phrase at the end uses a Similar Font to the one used un the Title of the Franchise of the character you used to beat this mode (so, If you use Lucas its a plain font witha metalic “O“ just like in MOTHER3; If you do it with a Zelda Character, its a purpe font similar to the one used in the word “ZELDA“; with Mario characters its a rainbow colored font lithe the Tiltle of “Super Mario World“, and those are the one I can actually remember.

Interesting, I noticed recently after beating Classic with Ike his "congradulations" is done in the "Old English" font style (and they were also coloured red but I don't know if the colour has any significance). |
