Well, it's in development. I MAY be the only fan of this series, but just in case, I decided to make this thread. The only announced skater is Tony (of course), and although they've been saying this since THP8, it will be a complete change for the series, hopefully to match up to Skate. I predict a lot of series bashing will follow as I know a couple forum members who prefer Skate over this, but there are reasons to like either one. So, what could they possibly do? The create-a-trick was cool, but they got rid of COUNTLESS key elements. Classic, Create-A-Park, Create-A-Skater, everything other than Story mode that mattered to the fans. My bets are placed on bringing all that back, because that seems to be what they really need at this point. Also try to model this around what we liked about the 1st and 2nd games. And the Wii controls for THPG was so CONFUSING, they should probably change that.

Tony Hawk Motion has finally been unveiled for the DS and it will include not just a "motion pack" peripheral to allow players to twist, tilt and turn through skateboarding challenges but also snowboarding challenges. And it will also contain another game called Hue Pixel Painter that is a puzzle game where you control a character called Hue in order to paint areas from black and white to full colour. Yes it's a two games, one pack deal. Skateboarding. Snowboarding. Both above pictures from Hue Pixel Painter.

I dunno. I really liked the Tony Hawk games from THPS3 to THUG2. Once Tony Hawk's American Wasteland came 'round, though, everything went to shit with the franchise; custom skater options were so terribly handicapped that I felt like I was using the same skater regardless of what I did to change him, the levels became samey and uninspired, not to mention the long load times between levels and the asinine control set-up (too many functions + not enough buttons = ARGH), and the music had been on a downward slide for a few generations... so, yeah. If TH10 can be a good game, I'll be happy.
