I guess we should have a thread for third party news announcements, just to keep everything in one place. Here's a new trailer for MadWorld. There's some Mortal Kombat-style violence and sadism here. The narrator sounds like Greg Proops of Whose Line is it Anyway fame. IGN confirms downloadable content for Samba de Amigo.
Kotaku went hands-on with Castlevania Judgment. Impressions were positive, but they said the game was less like Tekken or Soul Calibur, and more like Dragon Ball Z or Naruto. (!?) On top of that, a brief interview with IGA reveals that, for some reason, he doesn't consider it a fighting game. In other news, GameTrailers has a developer walkthrough of The Conduit that looks pretty good. The narrator mentions that the Wii is pulling off real-time special effects that are usually seen on the PS3 and 360. Here is gameplay footage of the Wii version of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, both dual mode and single-player mode. Looks pretty cool. Look at all those characters in dual mode.

Here is part 2 of the developer's walkthrough for The Conduit. It's stil looking amazing. GoNintendo has some impressions to go with it. They also have impressions on Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia and Mega Man 9On Castlevania: Castlevania: Order of Eccelsia may look like the last two Castlevanias to hit the DS, but this one is definitely the most fresh. I liked Portrait of Ruin a lot, but the game didn’t really do much to further the gameplay from Dawn of Sorrow. Order of Ecclesia does a lot, and you notice it early on in the game. While I’m a Castlevania fan, I came away much more impressed than I expected to be. On Mega Man 9: I am was very pleased to see that the game is absolutely brutal. I don’t think that Mega Man 2 is all that challenging, but Mega Man 1 kicks my ass all the time. While Capcom may be trying to reach Mega Man 2 levels of greatness, they are definitely bringing us Mega Man 1 style difficulty. There were only two levels to check out in the demo, and in the time I had to play, I couldn’t manage to make it through either of them. Punishing is the perfect word to use. This is a big throwback to classic gaming in a great way. Until I got my hands on Mega Man 9, I had almost forgotten what old-school, NES-style abuse was like. This is the kind of stuff that will have you slamming down your Wiimote in frustration, and I wouldn’t want it any other way.

I hope the other narrator is John Dimaggo (spelling?) becuase that voice sure sounds like Bender from Futurama.
