According to Kotaku, there was a rumor floating around Comic-Con that Sega was planning to revive the Jet Grind/Set Radio series on the Wii. It sounds like a recent Sega trademark has something to do with it. On the other hand, recent rumors about a Skies of Arcadia sequel and a Shenmue compilation have amounted to nothing. Still, we did get a new NiGHTS, and Samba de Amigo is on the way, and Sega SuperStars Tennis proves they haven't forgotten certain franchises. This is a good "wait and see" situation.

Teev, please can you keep your milky man-fat to yourself!
Nah, I'm kidding... go nuts!
Like all things Sega, I am not going to hold my breath. My trust in them has slipped to the point where I'll always wait for review scores.

Ah, I used to believe as you once did. That is... until Super Paper Mario...
That's right, that game made me EVEN MORE cynical than I was already! Damn you Intelligent Systems!! DAMN YOU!!

I'd love to see a new Jet Grind Radio. Though I haven't played Jet Set Radio on Xbox yet, nor the GBA Jet Grind Radio. The Dreamcast JGR is awesome though.

According to Kotaku, it seems to be that developer Headstrong Games (formerly Kuju London, who developed the Battalion Wars games and Geometry Wars: Galaxies) pitched a new Jet Grind Radio Wii game to Sega way back in 2006. There was some really cool concept art to go with it. But Sega, wise decision makers that they are, turned it down. Whether that has anything to do with the recent rumors seems to be undetermined at the moment.
