Don't know if you've seen this already, but... www.mario.tvApparently they're designed by different games developers to celebrate Mario's 20th anniversary. I especially like the Sonic one. ;D

I like seeing the different developer's designs of Mario. They are awesome, and I want one. But does anyone know who all of those people are? I recognize Yuji Naka and Shigeru Miyamoto but not the others.

But Mario's real 20th birthday was 2001.

You could say Jumpman's birthday was in 2001. But then Mario's would have been at the 20 year anniversary of Mario Bros., which was 2003 or something, wasn't it? But at least it's Bowser's birthday... and Koopa Troopa's, Goomba's, Lakitu's, Bullet Bill's, Blooper's, etc.

Miyamoto has already expressed some disappointment that more wasn't done to celebrate DK's 20th anniversary... which is why the last couple of years have been rife with DK games to make up for it.

But Mario's real 20th birthday was 2001. I'm assuming they're celebrating it as the anniversary of Super Mario Bros. since that's generally considered the first 'true' Mario game, whatever that means.
