Does anyone hear the Mario Bros tite screen tone during the first few notes in the SMW OP/ED remix in Brawl? Its relative volume is quite low and blend in the rest of the rhythm pretty well that you may not notice.
I know zero things about music (or on that matter, any art type) and I don't kow how to describe that insteument. It's one of the percussion instruments (you don't blow 'em), but i can't tell which.

I don't think it's the Mario Bros theme. I'll pay more attention the next time I play though.

The YouTube tags automatically add them by default. Much like the ads on the top of the page, ProBoards needs them to keep forums free. I'm not sure why next to the YouTube videos; maybe to call your attention easily. |

See first 15 seconds in the above video. It's in, but in a pretty high pitch and is quite low in volume.
Can anyone of a young age confirm this? Adults tend to have worsened hearing abilities and may not hear sounds of extreme pitches.

I'm 13 am I young enough? Because I don't hear it. But I do hear SOMETHING high pitched ringing through. Maybe you should post the title music to compare.
also I used to lurk for more cameos and references when I was 8 and I didn't grow up so...

Although a major computer user like me (it's not like I can show much, though; as I can see that most NinDBers are actually better than me, effectively making me pretty useless in all fields of life) is quite adapt to that as well. My hearing is more all-range tough... I can hear low-pitched noises as well. ...Alright. So now even the more sensitive hearers don't detect that? In that case, can anyone recommend a good audio editing software so that I can actually cut that part out for your reference? |

I can KINDA hear what you mean, but it's just part of the song that coincidentally sounds like a small handful of the notes from the Mario Bros. title theme. Sorry YL, but I think it's just another one of many musical cameos that simply doesn't exist. |

I hear sounds all the time that no one else hears and it gets really annoying. And I hear that old TV sound too.
Maybe you SHOULD edit that part out.
