I just downloaded it and I'm going to be checking wut is up. As for the questions: a) No, just because the song isn't unlocked doesn't mean it isn't on the disc. What this song swapping code allow you to do is temporarily overlap a certain song on your disc. Whether you have access to it is irrelevant. 2) I don't see how this could matter in anything. Remember, there are two ways to load codes for Brawl (we'll, there are many, but two methods of accessing said code implementers): i) The "BrawlBox" Method - utilizing the "programming hole" in the Stage Vault, open up the GeckoOS directly and load the codes from there ii) Installing the Homebrew Channel - using the same "program hole" from before, open up the Homebrew Channel installer. Then you'd just use the Homebrew Channel GeckoOS. You can also use the Homebrew Channel to implementing many other codes, like Riivolution and NSMBW codes.
Anyway, mind telling me which method you're going to use? It would make things simpler... Team Fortress 2 and the Left 4 Deads are taking a toll on my time ._. God Damn Achievements!
Welp, from what I've seen, you have in your private folder:
Version 1 of BBrawl A bunch of songs A few textures
And as for your code file, the RSBE01.gct file... it loaded everything fine...
I'm going to guess your problem:
1. Place the files in the correct structure on the SD card. A .zip archive is available for download that will automatically place all files correctly (be sure you put the contents of the folder "Balanced Brawl" in the SD card, not the folder itself), but if you wish to do it manually, put the gameconfig.txt and the boot.elf file in the root of the SD card, rsbe01.gct in a folder named codes, and smash stack as the only file in the folder private/wii/app/rsbe/st 2. Delete all custom stages from your Wii, including the three that came with Brawl by default. If you wish to save any stages, back them to your computer or a second SD card. 3. Boot up Brawl and go to the stage builder. Press A to "Launch Game" when prompted. Brawl should restart. 4. Remove the SD card and enjoy Balanced Brawl! Failure to remove the SD card may result in crashing on the stage select screen.
Note: If you do not immediately go to stage builder, it is possible that Stack Smash will not load. If this happens, just restart the Wii and try again.
If you are using a version with the "no custom stages code" by Phantom Wings on (which will be most users), removing the SD card is not needed though not a bad idea anyway. Thanks go to illinialex and Bionic Sonic for this suggestion.
Read the fine print. If that's your problem...
I'm going to laugh my head off x-D

I guess you must be missing some files on the SD card root. Once I get home, I'll send you each file I've got on my SD card Root that could help. You can keep your Private Folder and your Codes folder, both work.

As I pulled my SD Card from my camera, a surge of anticipation washed through me. 'This will do it,' I thought, as I inserted it into my Wii. I turned the console on and immediately set to work navigating my way to Super Smash Bros. Brawl's Stage Builder mode. As Stage Builder finished loading, my excitement turned to dismay. Like a raven pecking at the scarecrow or a goat dancing atop the troll's bridge, Stage Builder mocked me with its horrid presence. Not even the noble Shadrio's file patch would penetrate the Dark Lord of customizable stages.

Happy New Year, people! I made these two videos as a tribute to Pokémon Black, White, Black 2 and White 2 - a quartet that surprised us in 2012 with the announcement and release of the latter two. Also a generation that may have ended there.
I was kind of careless with the interlacing for the first one... But that will not happen anymore ;D
Nester the Lark: Here's an archive of results from the Everybody Votes channel. I found my poll question in the US English section for September 1, 2009.

nocturnal YL: Do you consider yourself to be more of a ... Romantic: 39.1% Realist: 60.9% This one, right? So… what's your own vote to that question? (I'd have picked realist.)

Nester the Lark: ^ At the time, I think I picked romantic. Not sure what I'd pick today. I feel like I'm somewhere in between.

nocturnal YL: Looking at the other members' last online date, I can safely say that this place is pretty much inactive by now.

Nester the Lark: Looking at an old post I wrote two years ago, I noticed I misspelled "threw" as "through," and now I'm angry at myself.

nocturnal YL: …Why am I still seeking gaming news when I have 7 games yet to complete and at least 2 more that I plan to get? (EDIT — Oh right, Ys IX has a confirmed release date. That makes at least 3 games I'll get later.)
Jun 14, 2021 10:18:41 GMT -5
nocturnal YL: My current plan is to play Atelier Firis DX now, which online guides suggest is long. Atelier Lydie & Suelle DX will likewise be long (longer than the original too, due to DLC, DX additions and I'll make the best items). I'll maybe play Ys Origin after.
Jun 14, 2021 10:28:43 GMT -5
nocturnal YL: Not sure about what I'll play after. Another Atelier game will probably be out by then, either completing the Secret series or giving us Arland 5. Either way, I'll probably play those before going elsewhere. Dusk will have to wait for quite a bit…

Nester the Lark: Wondering if I should get Mario Golf at launch or wait a couple of months. I have so many other things to play that my gaming (and wallet) might need a little breathing room.

Nester the Lark: The problem with playing Hyrule Warriors and a modern Ys game at the same time is that even though the combat feels somewhat similar, the controls are completely different, and I get confused.

Shrikeswind: By the way, I don't know if you guys have been keeping up with OCR on YouTube, but apparently they're dropping an album for a game I grew up on, Jet Force Gemini. Really pumped; I'll post a review when they finish.

Nester the Lark: I feel like I've been neglecting the forum more than usual lately. Been distracted by other things. I'll try to post something when I get the chance.
Jul 16, 2021 10:38:22 GMT -5
nocturnal YL: I don't have time to make posts. Atelier Firis DX takes forever to play. When I'm not playing, I'm in a read-only mode, reading guides and watching (unrelated) videos.
Jul 17, 2021 13:25:38 GMT -5
nocturnal YL: On that note, I'll probably make a review on the whole trilogy, so it will be a while until I talk about these games in details here. I can say Atelier Firis DX has far exceeded my expectation and has taken over Totori as my 3rd fav.
