Here's the DS Lite and DSi comparsion chart. There was some very nice looking games in those trailers and a lot of them appear to be published by Nintendo. I was surprised that Endless Ocean is getting sequel so quickly and that Wario Ware looks like you will be able to create your own games. Here's a list of games. Wii Sports Resort (Nintendo) Spring Start w/ 100 Conversations! English Conversation (Nintendo) 2009 Punch-Out!! (Nintendo) 2009 Trace Memory: R, Gateway of Memory (Nintendo) 2009 Kensax (Nintendo) 2009 Cosmic Walker (Nintendo) 2009 Spawn Smasher (Nintendo) 2009 Dynamic [illegible] (Nintendo) 2009 Takt of Magic (Nintendo) 2009 Sin & Punishment 2 (Nintendo) 2009 Forever Blue 2: Beautiful Ocean (Nintendo) 2009 Everyone’s the Star on the NHK Red-and-White Quiz Battle (Nintendo) 2009 Line Attack Heroes (Nintendo) 2009 Also finally confirmation on DSi having one touch screen.Hopefully some more info gets revealed on this DS game becuase it looks like Iwata, Miyamoto and Reggie are in it. EDIT: YouTube videos of Wii and DS game line ups.

We've known about TatsuCap being Arcade and Wii only for a while now. Yeah, I figured I missed that piece of news. Or maybe I got confused with Street Fighter 4. Either way they better bring this to the US. I believe Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom will most likely be Japan-only due to the distribution rights of the several different Tatsunoko series of animes and mangas being held by numerous anime and manga licensing companies. Also, I guess some Tatsunoko animes and mangas haven't been brought to North America, Europe nor Australia.

If I read the chart right, the DSi will have exclusive games. Interesting.

Dude, I should not have slept in today! And it looks like I shall happily have to eat my words regarding a new DS ;D
Top of my wish list from the announcements is Another Code Wii, and the new Mario and Luigi game!
See, and some of you guys had all but lost faith in Nintendo after E3. For shame!

I love that crumpets fly out when Mac socks that guy Definitely a bit better than I expected. Still wondering if we can load off the SD cards for the Wii though. It's kind of a big deal to somebody like me, who has way too many WiiWare/VC Downloads.

Some excellent looking videos from Nintendo - and it even looks like they've taken on board the whole "Nintendo doesn't do new franchises" criticism as well. Which is funny, as everyone's clearly most excited about Punch-Out!!, Mario & Luigi 3 and Sin & Punishment 2 3D Picross piqued my interest.

Yes Flip, I've been catching up on all the announcements around the place, and the Wii storage solution is that you can finally play stuff straight from the SD card! No need to copy to it and copy back! Of course, you'll have to wait a while for this to go live....

Oh, and totally agree with you there, Fry. Nintendo's definitely pulling out the stops with new franchises, but I'm finding it hard to care when there's a new Mario and Luigi to look forward to.
Mind you, that "Cosmic Walker" looks a bit nice. On the video, its the one that looks like Endless-Ocean-but-in-space, nice graphics, hope it'll be a bit more interesting than my analogy.

So, there's a media summit in California, right? When does it start?

That new DS looks good, but I'm not going to get one, as I'm in the small minority of people who actually use that GBA slot.
Besides, if I want to take photo's, I can just use my mums digital camera instead.
As for the game line up, there are only two games that I'm interested in, and I was going to get them anyway (Kirby Super Star Ultra and Miles Edgeworth: Perfect Prosecutor).

Way too much unused space on my SD card. I'm guessing there'll be a little button at the top-right of your Wii channel menu that will switch to your SD card menu. I believe Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom will most likely be Japan-only due to the distribution rights of the several different Tatsunoko series of animes and mangas being held by numerous anime and manga licensing companies. Atleast Capcom USA is 'investigating'. I love me some cross-over games.

One of Nintendo's biggest criticisms is that they no longer produce new characters or new franchises - here they are showing a crapton of new franchises being published under them, and everyone's pooing their pants over Mario & Luigi and Punch-Out... Isn't it ironic, dontcha think? There's a lot of closed-mindedness at work here. Sure, we need more information about some of them before we can make a judgement call - but there's a realistic WiiMotion Plus swordfighting game, a 2D Platformer where you throw yourself around to destroy blocks and a game about flying around a space station. There's so much potential excitement being ignored because everyone wants to punch Glass Joe in the face I, for one, am thrilled to see Nintendo trying new things, and I hope there are some successes in there so they don't feel they have to brand everything with Mario or Pokemon. As a final note... where's my retooled WiiMotion Plus Project HAMMER!

Back from visiting Nintendo's site. I want to say smething here...
- Nintendo did what exactly I don't want to see on Wii on the new DS: turing a game system into a multimedia center. I wonder when will Nintendo start making IBM-compatible computers...
- THAT many games announced? I'd better be skeptical, because history teaches us 3 or 4 out of every 10 games won't come out at all.
- Mario & Luigi.... again. 3D Picross. And a... "Made in Ore"? I hope this won't turn out to be another Touched! And while these games sound pretty cool..... all of them combined won't comprehend the loss of Kirby for Nintendo GameCube.
My faith in Nintendo continues to drop to no end...

Sin and Punishment 2 and Punch Out Wii may be sequels, but they're sequels to some pretty old or obscure games. That's practically like starting a new franchise right there. In the case of S&P2 especially so, since people on the other side of the pond only have been able to play the first game since it's VC release, which isn't as much exposure as a full fledged game.
And we've gone two generations without Punch Out, so that's a pretty big deal.
