Ok, so there seems to be some new cameos in Kirby Super Star Ultra Great Cave Offensive: - Koppa Shell (not sure if this was in the first game)
- Cell Phone (Amazing Mirror)
- Three Star Cane (The Master ability from Squeak Squad)
Also, the Hearts (Spring, Autumn ect.) are now just the season heart. The Screw Attack, Phanto Mask, Bucket, Falcon Helmet, and Falchion are here as well. With the rock ability, you can now change into a statue of Coo the Owl (from the Dream Land games). I don't beleive any of the others are cameos. EDIT:It can also be Kine the fish. It varries between the rooms (you can also be a muscle man)

Yeah, the Koopa Shell was in the last game. I'm not sure if the others are cameos... Interseries continuity.
I don't htink the Phanto Mask was there though.

Can you also confirm if the Falchion is called the Falchion? It wasn't called that in the original US release (only the Japanese).

Kirby Stone forms include Kine, Coo, and Rick. Dunno why people would think it'd just be one or two of the set.
It's been said many time but no one notices. Cell Phone's not a cameo. Even though it's a great ref (and so are the other Kirby treasures), in-series nod.
It's called Falchion. The translation was redone almost entirely.

Yeah, it's called Falchion. There is also the golden Watering can. I beleive other cameos (like the Kong Barrel) are intact.
Also, you can now see Wario in the Dedede fight. I don't have Megaton Punch yet so I can't tell you if they are in there as well. EDIT:In the Dedede fight, Mario Peach and Toad are on the left side, and Wario and Luigi are on the right.
Megaton Punch is exactly the same as KSS.

I'm guessing Animal Crossing.
Wait, they put Kaboola back in? I did not know this! Has Castle Lololo been put back too?

Apperently, it's a closer remake of KDL1 than Spring Breeze, so it may have a level closer to Castle Lolo than Spring Breeze had.
It seems to have different bosses, however. Kracko is replaced by Kracko Jr., who in turn resembles the final boss from Squeak Squad.

// During the credits for Milky Way Wishes, a sprite of Kirby standing next to a Mario statue appears at the lower left corner of the bottom screen.
// In Meta Knightmare Ultra mode, Meta Knight can "shoot his sword with power" at full health, like Link does in several Zelda games.
// Also in MKU mode, Meta Knight has four special moves to make up for his lack of a copy ability; one of them is the Mach Tornado, sort of a souped-up version of his move by the same name in Brawl. (I figure this counts as a cameo because Meta Knight first used it in Brawl and not a Kirby game.)

The boss Meta Knight did already use a tornado attack in the original, so I guess that's where his special move in Brawl does actually come from.

On another note, you'll all noticed how Capsule J has been "upgraded".
YL here told me that it was due to a copyright issue.
You know, the first version from the original DOES look rather familiar. Twinbee, anyone?

Actually, he DID do mach tornado in the original Kirby super star. And turning into coo and kine with the rock is probably a nod to combining rock and cutter in Kirby 64.

I'm curious to know how Kaboola is fought. Does the Mint Leaf power-up make a comeback or something?

You fight him on the Star Chariot, which is renamed the Starship.
