So I started playing Elite Beat Agents recently and thought of the most awesome way to incorporate them as assist trophies!
When they appear, a short Nintendo song will play in the background (similar to when you get the hammer or star) and numbers will appear, prompting you to attack them in order. If someone misses or hits the number too late, they will suffer a status effect, and if you make it, you get powered up. It would be like in the WarioWare Inc. minigames.

PIRANHA PLANT-appears at centre of stage and snaps at your opponents (15% damage).that should have been an assist trophy. ;D

A good idea, except that Assist Trophies are supposed to help only the character that summoned them, not everyone else.

Not every Pokemon helps the person that summoned them either.

Mr. Resetti, Nintendog, and Devil are not very helpful. I came up with a few more ATs. 1. Wrecking Crew (Wrecking Crew) - Foreman Spike whistles and Eggplant Men and Gotcha Wrenches appear and attack everyone. Its similar to King Dedede's Final Destination. 2. Super Koopas (Super Mario World) - These caped Koopas fly from the background and divebomb toward the opponents. Its similar to Pit's Final Smash. 3. Ashley (WarioWare: Touched!) - She puts the opponents and items into her boiling cauldron and launches them away. Its similar to Kirby's Final Smash. What? Don't like summons that work like Final Smashes? Well, Deoxys works like Lucario's Final Smash. So there!
