- Travis' ranking has dropped to slot 51 - he still lives in a motel, and still loves anime and wrestling - Santa Destroy is being remade into a tourist hot-spot, which makes it look completely different - Bishop is having trouble with some gunmen (video store guy from first game) - Sylvia has invited Travis back to the world of the assassin - dual-wielding beam katanas - new character: Nathan Copeland - ranked 50th, and a fan of Travis (Guy with boom box arms, black chick thower from trailer). - new character: beam-wielding school girl that may be related to Travis
Also possible confirmation of Wii MotionPlus useage, according to the "trademark of Nintendo" part of the "coming soon" image below.
Also possibly more info in the next EDGE magazine if this teaser image is correct.

Talks about . . . - City of Santa Destroy has been taken over by the huge conglomerate Pizza Butt - Fixing the overworld - New enemies, new AI - Tuning the physics engine - Making the combat "cooler." - More than 10 boss fights happen in the game - More innovative situations for ranking battles, may not be limited to 1 on 1 fighting - Jeane (Travis's cat) is returning and has gained some weight. Thinking about having a minigame where you put her on a diet. Want it to be even better than Ubisoft's Petz titles. - Girl with Blondie hair and glasses is Travis's fan and becomes an assassin herself - Have motel, do more in it such as redecorating. - Travis's bike is back, Mark 2 version though. - Want this game to be as successful as possible, don't want it to lose to any over titles.
Hey, hey, I've got exciting news! I don't know if this was revealed before, but UBI Soft has picked up the sequel for NA, and the release date willbe 1/28/2010. I pulled this from my book distributor's video game listings.
Some control news: 1UP reports that Grasshopper has decided to impliment Classic Controller support for NMH:DS, and that the Motion Plus will NOT be in the game after all. You can thank Monster Hunter 3 Tri's success for this.
nocturnal YL: I've been thinking about how would things turn out if we do another NinDB Top 25 after 5 years passed. One thing I'm sure is that the participation rate would remain low.

Shrikeswind: So, having said in my post in Dream Fighters what I've been spending my quarantine on, what about you guys? How are you hanging onto sanity?

Shrikeswind: Also I don't know that I've ever spent as long building a Smash fighter as I did with WG, and I'm going to hit this one hard here, it was all the costume work.

Shrikeswind: I'm reminded why I don't bother with that. I had the luxury of easy-to-grab screenshots and it still took literal hours to finish that post.

Nester the Lark: Let's not talk about me and sanity.
Aug 25, 2020 10:19:20 GMT -5
Shrikeswind: Very well, we shall talk of other things, like shoes and ships and sealing wax, and cabbages and kings, and why the sea is boiling hot, and whether pigs have wings.

Shrikeswind: It strikes me that perhaps I should not be mentioned in the same breath as sanity myself.

Boo Destroyer: RuneScape.... I haven't heard that name in a long, long time.

Shrikeswind: I still play. Matter of fact, I'm currently playing. It actually just came out with a new skill this past March, if you can believe it.

nocturnal YL: In a way, I'm glad I'm unrelated to those fan communities of the games I play. I just sit back and play games casually, not really caring whatever scandals or elitism or holier-than-thou attitudes going on.

Shrikeswind: I think I need to track down some horribly cursed Pokemon content now after that. You know, since that was such a heavy topic to drop in the middle of a quiet forum.
