Suda 51 has revealed a trailer for the sequel to No More Heroes, subtitled "Desperate Struggle", at TGS. This is a surprise. I didn't realize the game sold well enough to warrant a sequel. But it's a slick trailer. |

SO EXCITED. I love the first one, and this pushes me to go finish it (I got to Harvey and stopped). Seems to be for the Wii but the name Desperate Struggle has me a bit worried (DS?)

Suda 51 has said that Europe will get versions of No More Heroes 2 DS, one with extreme violence and one with less violence. Source.Also due to sales of the original game being so poor in Japan, there is now currently no plans to release the sequel in Japan. EDIT: Isn't that a bit of an irony when the game is unveiled at the Tokyo Game Show? Source. |

Sure shows Suda to doubt Americans and Europeans. Sales here were three times as much as Japan, and European sales were even more!

Heh, I still need to try out the original. Glad to hear about a sequel, though. ^_^ Certainly stood out from the usual Wii fodder.
