Just saw this thing called "Art Style" in NOA's website. Is that just the US version of bit Generations - on a different platform?
And I don't seem to hear about that at all.

Oh yeah, their releasing all those old Bit Generation games in updated form for Wiiware! Pluse they're making new stuff as well!
They're quite simple games, so they make perfect cheap downloads on Wiiware!

Oh yeah, their releasing all those old Bit Generation games in updated form for Wiiware! Pluse they're making new stuff as well! They are not releasing all the games on WiiWare, (yet) the only 3 coming/avalible are Orbiant (remake with new levels of Orbiatal) and Cuebello (3D sequel to Colouris, not a remake) and the upcoming Rotohex (most likely Dialhex) game are coming/on WiiWare (in NA at least but have been rated for Australia), the 4 other games have not been confirmed yet. The reason you haven't heard much about the games is that we have been talking about them in the News: Virtual Console & WiiWare thread. Also here's some footage for Orbiant and Cuebello.

I'm not paying much attention to non-Japanese games lately, so.. no wonder.
For some reasons I'm kinda reluctant to read long threads. Thoese threads are.... very wordy.

Wish they'd just stick them all on one disk, I'd save room on my Wii that way.

Wish they'd just stick them all on one disk, I'd save room on my Wii that way. Now that you say this, I'm really missing the old "multi-in-one" games. Not counting the Asian-produced pirates, we have G&W Galleries, Mario All-Stars and other stuff... Just think about it! The fun of having a whole load of (mini)games for the price and space of one!

Wish they'd just stick them all on one disk, I'd save room on my Wii that way. They don't becuase it saves a lot of money this way. If they release it in a store, the price would be higher, and being an odd game could turn potential buyers to something else. If also puts it at it's target audience, and since Nintendo controls all levels of the game's online distribution, they make all the money.

Technically, Nintendo and the developer of these Art Style games (Skip Ltd) would make the money, Smashchu. Also Rotohex, (the Art Style version of Dialhex) got released on Monday in NA, it also has a (local play) 2 player competitive and co-op modes. (all the other AS game are just 1 player). Here's a video of Rotohex in action.
