The most kickass 2D fighting game ever, would be a Pokemon fighter. Something like this?

I'm pretty sure Wildcat came up with a similar concept once. You would be correct, good Boo. I haven't touched that in some time, though. As I mentioned before, I'm trying to push my own ideas farther along. As for TvC, I am always down for a new tag fighter a la Capcom. This one looks quite fun thus far, but I do hope the roster swells quite a bit more from here, and that it manages to come out in the US.

I'd like to see Nintendo vs Capcom as long as the Nintendo roster doesn't feel like Smash bros.
I do hope we get the Marvel vs Capcom 3 they seem to talk about so much.

Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom. Marvel Vs. Capcom. Mortal Kombat Vs. DC Universe. What's next? Fatal Fury Vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?
Actually, that would be AWESOME!

I'm sure the Looney Tunes are a good source of stuff for a fighting game, and not necessarily a crossover.
Someday we could see a crossover of Nintendo and Disney. They're corporations that have contributed a lot to the entertainment of people. Their main mascots are very popular and kid-friendly, and they have lots of magical and legendary tales. It might not be a fighting game, but if it is, such a concept would need to be E+10. Not E, because a fighting game needs to have some freedom of content, but not T either, because Disney characters are made for kids to adults.

Cartoon Network VS Nickelodeon Disney VS Capcom Final Fantasy VS Disney (waaaaaiiiit a minute...) WB VS Square-Enix Nintendo VS.........Well, I donno. They're better off on their own already anyway.
I'm telling you.
Nester, may I ask you this? Okay...Have you been becoming more of a fan of third-party games (on Nintendo systems) than Nintendo's first/second-party games? I seemed to have noticed this with you lately.

Nester, may I ask you this? Okay...Have you been becoming more of a fan of third-party games (on Nintendo systems) than Nintendo's first/second-party games? I seemed to have noticed this with you lately. Just lately? Heh, OK. Fair question. I suppose it's true on some level. As far as first-party games go, Nintendo just hasn't wowed me too much lately. With games like Wii Fit, Wii Music, and Brain Age, it's simply not what I'm looking for in a video game. Then a lot of their so-called "core" games don't jump out at me as anything special, either. I'm not really a fan of the 3D Mario games, Mario Kart, Paper Mario, or Wario Land, and that's mostly what we've been seeing in the past year. Don't get me wrong. I still love Zelda, Metroid, Smash Bros, and others, but we're between installments at the moment, and lot of them haven't changed much in the past decade. At this point, Nintendo has to do more than just show me a dusty franchise and say, "Look! Punch-out!! Aren't you excited?" They used to show me games that made me say, "Wow! I want to play that!" Instead, I'm saying, "Haven't I already played that?" Maybe the law of diminishing returns has just gone into effect for me. Second-party games are faring better. I'm actually really impressed that Sin & Punishment 2 is on the way. On the other side of it, I've been concerned lately about being seen as "Mr. Third-party Fanboy." This may surprise you, but it's not a reputation I particularly want. For me, it's not about first/second-party vs. third-party. It's about playing cool games; being drawn in by clever concepts, and challenged by the gameplay. Right now, games like Deadly Creatures have the clever concepts, and others like Contra 4 are providing challenge. They just happen to be third-party. But ultimately, they're games that are available to me on the Nintendo consoles that I own.

Actually, good points. This really is true with Nintendo nowadays.
As enjoyable as their stuff is, they don't seem to be trying harder enough with more of it these days.
I'm okay with any third-party games anyway. I'd go for just about anything whenever. In fact...
Well, little-known fact about me: I love Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie a lot more than anything by Nintendo.
But from what I've seen, Nintendo actually does seem to...stand out from other game companies, in terms of their style and (mostly) mannerisms and what-not. Much of what other companies make seem to appear as rather generically cliche, though...

Yeah... At first I thought the Wii is ginna be the best system ever, and now I'm more attracted to Microsoft (which I used to hate) and Sony.
And what with crossover games, I think Battle Toads should be in Mortal Kombat after all the violence they added. Man what did they DO with that game? But it was still awesome, especially those giant rat's weak points in the third level.

^ I assume you're talking about the arcade game Super Battletoads. It was violent, but it was actually developed by EA under the discretion of Rare. I only got to play it once for a few minutes many years ago. I wish I could've played it more. Not that that has anything to do with Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom.

Still under Rare's supervision, right? Maybe informing people about Super Battletoads will make them stop questioning Rare's motives when it came to Conker's Bad Fur Day.

^ Actually, I seem to have it backwards. It was programmed by Rare, and it was published by EA. You can see the endgame credits here.

Yawhoops I thought I was getting back on topic. But still I wonder what they did.
Is there any confirmation of a complete TVSC roster?
