We've gone over the trophies and their oddities, now this one's for the stickers.
The first and most notable bit in the stickers is all Pokemon stickers.
They're all of their Brawl renders and not any original art by Game Freak. Does anyone know the deal behind this at all?

And for your question, licensing issues perhaps? I believe I've heard that the Pokemon Company is legally seperate from Nintendo.
But then we have MGS and Sonic stickers. Hmm....

In fact, the booklet that came with the deluxe box set of Mother 3 in Japan had sprite art in it. So what art there is is using in game sprites. |

There is nothing wrong with that.
And they listed most of the stickers that were from Morther were labled as from EarthBound, and they even labled the hippie "New Age Retro Hippie", even though they are two different enemies from two differet games. Same with the New Pork City stage.

I I believe I've heard that the Pokemon Company is legally seperate from Nintendo. It's an affiliate with Nintendo. Meaning they're sorta a part of Nintendo. Nintendo could have told them to use their artwork. |

Not much to say on the stickers...the variety was good, I enjoyed 'em a lot, but I wish you could alter their sizes in modes outside the Subspace Emissary if only to be able to see them better. I understand the size limitations for SSE because that served a purpose, but it sucks having a Count Bleck sticker about the size of my pinky nail and a portrait of some dude from a Flight Sim game I don't even recognize the size of a silver dollar.
Also, what the hell is the point of using stickers on characters in SSE affecting what stickers you can view in Sticker Album? That was another little thorn in the buttocks. I love that Tetra sticker, the one that's got a crazy boost to Fire attacks, but because I always wind up using them (Charizard, Captain Falcon, Mario, Ike, Falco, Fox), I never have any in the Album. It's not such a big deal, really, but...I dunno, it's silly. XD
Those are the two things I hope the SSB team changes about Stickers next time around. *fingers crossed*
