That Zero Suit Samus costume totally gave me the horn. Then fat James permanently removed that horn and caused my reproductive organs to retract into my abdomen. Now how will I ever have children!?! I hear there's an excellent plumbing service out there, called Mario Brothers Plumbing; if word-of-mouth is to be believed, their skill in the art of plunging is sublime. They'll be able to suck those manmarbles right out!  |

EPIC bump. I got back from ConnectiCon last monday, and I'm gonna share my cosplay pictures. This was the best of the best, I feel, but nothing can really beat Billy Mays: I have never seen a Skies of Arcadia cosplayer EVER, not even in pictures. So, this was great for me: If you don't remember or know this guy, you fail: Earthbound fans, rejoice! Four Links...though they aren't all Toon Links. Christ didn't come here to give us the willies! If you flipped it upside-down and put an "OL" at his left, he'd be the LOL-block. Can it be that you have shown me the light? Hey, it's a Mononoke cosplay. Need I say more? I'll avoid ranting this time. I'm the crouching guy - a Hunter, from Left 4 Dead. ;D Hunter vs. Francis Francis beats Hunter (this pic is huge, so I'm just gonna post the link) Hunter beats Francis (There's another Hunter cosplayer involved in this one - he's the one who's not very bloody.  And that's all I got ;D |

The moral of the story is: If you're not good looking and attractive in the real world, then you won't be good looking and attractive dressed like a video game character. But if you're good looking and attractive, why are you cosplaying!? |

I'll upload some pictures from Otakon 09, Comic-Con 07, and the Star Wars Celebrations for this topic by October. Some that definitely fit these examples.
(I myself try to only cosplay as characters I am like in both appearance AND personality. It helps a lot. So far I've gone as Simon from Gurren Lagann and Luke Skywalker.)
