In WarioWare: Twisted!, one of Dribble and Spitz's microgames is called "Wheel of Whack". It features a rotatable wheel where various characters pop out and the player has to whack those with a hammer.
On the first level, there are moles, on the second one, "Bald Guys" with oversized heads appear. The third level involves Bald Guys dressed as Marios (they have green "T"s instead of red "M"s on their hats, though). If I see right, their torsos are even based on the Mario sprites from Super Mario Bros. When they are hit, they "jump" out of the screen in the typical Mario style. They try to defend themselves with hammers, too.
By the way, does anybody know if "Bald Guy" is supposed to be a specific person? There is also a very small image of a person on the record "NES Remix", but I don't know if it's the same.
