So, apparently you can also summon internet memes like Longcat and Keyboard Cat in this game. This game is becoming way to awesome for words.

Here's another awesome video with "God brandishing a shotgun while riding a skateboard." IGN just had a list of best NDS games of E3.Scribblenauts ended up winning every cartagory it was in and won "biggest surprise because it was a third party DS game that was the talk of the show" and also won DS game of the show. All in all the awards were . . . - Best Puzzle Game - Special Achievement for Innovation - Best Artistic Design - Biggest Surprise "a third party DS game that was the talk of the show" - DS Game Of The Show The only other DS title to get multiple awards was C.O.P. The Recruit with two (best action game and best graphics technology).

Just give it game of the year awards already and save us all time. Because it will be GOTY without a doubt.

They may as well cut out the middleman and change the title to "Awesome: The Game".

And keeping with the theme of awesomeness... The whole reason for that image is "Post 217" from NeoGAF where someone had a problem fighting robot zombies, tired "raygun", "pickaxe" and "torches" got frustrated and thentried "time machine" went back to dinosaur times. Realised he could ride on backs of dinosaurs and then went back to the future and the stomped on the robot zombies Now "NeoGAF" and "Post 217" are items in the game.

Yeah, I'd read that post (I thought it was posted in this thread? If not i would have posted it), and loved it. I was unaware that they'd now put both of those things in the game now, I can't keep up with their Scribblenauts thread, it moves too fast. So thats super cool. Does 'Post 217' Spawn a Dinosaur, a Time machine and Robot Zombies all in one hit? Actually, better yet, don't tell me.

ESRB rating for the game is quite interesting . . .
Scribblenauts Platform: Nintendo DS Rating: Everyone 10+ Content descriptors: Cartoon Violence, Comic Mischief
Rating summary: This is a puzzle game in which players navigate a series of traps, puzzles, and enemies to collect stars scattered throughout the colorful levels. Players have the ability to summon different objects by writing/typing in the word (e.g., bike, spaceship, lion) and watching it come to life. If multiple words are entered in a sequence, different whimsical scenarios can be triggered: a bicycle can be used to jump over a baby; a bulldozer can clear away a shark; and cabbage can be fed to dinosaurs. Players can elect to summon "cartoony" versions of bats, bombs, guns, and flamethrowers. These types of items can be used to destroy objects or even other summoned items (e.g., a club can be used to hit an animal; steak can be attached to a baby to attract lions; rockets can be lobbed at a man). These triggered animations are minimally depicted and are usually accompanied by popping, musical sound effects; bright, star-shaped flashes; or small puffs of smoke. If players wish to, they may type in the word vomit, which causes a beige-colored lump to appear on the screen.
