Matt C from IGN has said he tried contacting Factor 5 and still hasn't gotten a response, IGN has also begun speclation that Factor 5 may be getting purchased by Nintendo.

^ Heh. I was thinking of that, myself, back when I first heard the news of Factor 5's financial troubles. I wouldn't be too surprise if Nintendo did purchase them, or at least put in a significant investment to keep them afloat until their collaborations are seen thru. It wouldn't be the first time Nintendo did something like that.

I wouldn't mind if that happened, just as long as we get that PilotWings sequel they mentioned so long ago. And maybe Rogue Squadron IV too.

There's a rumor saying that Factor 5’s projects will indeed continue on, and an announcement about their titles should come about in 2 weeks time and that Eternal Darkness developers Silicon Knights may have a Wii title in the works, but there are no other details at this time Source.
