First, I'm not sure if this can be count as a cameo. But let's start: In WarioWare: Touched!, one of Mona's microgames is called "Quite Puzzled." There you have to solve a 9 puzzle and to move its panels to match the puzzle on the top screen. One of the puzzles shows a joker card. The card shows some kind of mermaid (sorry, I don't know who is exactly portrayed there): A card with this picture is also printed by Nintendo, as seen on this and this site. The problem is: I don't know if Nintendo is the only company that prints such a card (I guess no). If Nintendo isn't the only one, can it be count as a cameo nonetheless? Of course, it is a reference to Nintendo, anyway.

Looks more like a merMAN to me Anyway, as far as I can tell, many card companies do their own designs for things like the Joker card and the designs on the backs. It's quite possible that this is an exclusive Nintendo design, so it would indeed be a cameo. But in that case, I'll need a screenshot of the microgame as well

Looks more like a merMAN to me Hm, I got Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland for Christmas, I must have lost the ability to distinguish between males and females after I saw Pinkle. But in that case, I'll need a screenshot of the microgame as well Sorry, I'm not able to make DS screenshots. But actually the other cameos from this game don't have a screenshot, either (or will this change with the site's relaunch?). EDIT: Here I found a "screenshot" of the game, just for proof: jap-animal.blogspot.com/2007/01/touched-vs-sawaru-round-1_02.htmlEr, but that means that the card was added in western versions. What was that in the Japanese version?

Sorry, I thought you said "Twisted" for some reason Hmm... Very odd. I wonder if that means I was wrong about it being an exclusive design, or if they actually added a Japanese Joker card exclusively for the US (which seems uncharacteristic of NoA).

I'd like to add the fact that the card has something like "© ™ Nintendo" (very tiny, under the merman) printed on it, if I see right. I'd count this card as a cameo, but that's just my humble opinion.
