Obviously not for the site, but I thought that this was pretty cool:

I'm surprised there isn't some sort of copyright for those items.
There is also an issue of Famistu that can be used as a weapon and Selveria's Shield from Valkyria Chronicles and also a Cadeceus' Wand which I think was avavlible at a launch party for the game.

I'm sure SEGA made a deal with Nintendo to throw in those goofy ass weapons, just like with those Luigi/Samus costumes in Fatal Frame IV.
Phantasy Star Online had a junkload of extremely rare, but awesomely weird weapons. Good to know PSZ continues the tradition.

I don't see Konami or Sega as SSBB publishers, yet Snake and Sonic were in it

Konami and Sega are in the copyrights along with all the shared franchises.
Nintendo licensed Phantasy Star Zero and nothing more. But the fact it's on a Nintendo system and that these are wonderful nods (and yes they'd count if Fry made an Outside Cameo page) should bystep any issues.

Jeez, what a humourless bunch you all are I suppose if a TV show parodies another TV show, they have to seek to license the copyright for that parody? Oh wait, no, it's safely covered within copyright law

Not sure what's more awesome, a Warp Pipe Rocket Launcher or Samus's arm cannon. =p
Isn't homages/parodies protected by copyright? =p

Isn't homages/parodies protected by copyright? =p Well, homages and parodies are exempt from copyright law, if that's what you mean.
