I'm playing Animal Crossing obsessively at the moment, and have noticed something odd...
We all know that some of the game's shirt designs are cameos of Nintendo games. But I keep coming across these shirt designs in Able Sisters that don't seem to be Nintendo related, but when you try them on, a cool guitar riff plays and the shop girl says something like "if you can find a matching hat, you'd have the perfect Hero look!". It was the guitar riff more than anything that told me it was a special shirt. I think the last one I saw like this was a "Green Hero Shirt" or something like that.
I dunno, its just a hunch. Judging from the look of the shirt, it could be a reference to Japanese TV like Super Saiyan or something like that. I'll try to remember to take screen shots next time I see something like it.
