so this has been bugging me prolly for the last 2 months and you guys seem like the right ones to come to about this question... i know its gonna sound odd and i dont even know if im remembering the game correctly. It was a super nintendo game tho and it was a side-scroller action-adventure game. from what i can remember you were a rabbit in a space suit of some kind. honestly thats pretty much all i can remember from it, its been such a long time since ive played it i can hardly remember! if anyone can help me out that would be awesome!

That sounds like Bucky O'Hare, but it was only on the NES (and in the arcade), not SNES. I'll snoop around a bit more in case that's not the right game. EDIT: You might be thinking of Sparkster, just in case you're mistaking "rabbit in a space suit" with "possum in a suit of armor."

If that's not it, then it's probably Jazz Jackrabbit.

Was the NES version of Bucky O'Hare released before the arcade version or vice versa? It's hard to say for sure. Both games came out in 1992, and according to GameFAQs, the NES version was released in January. If that's true, then the arcade version was released either at about the same time or later that year.

Bucky! Captain Bucky O'Hare! He goes where no ordinary rabbit would dare (except, perhaps, the Super Nintendo....)
