Well, here's something you don't see so often in Smash discussion. Yeah, this just had to be made, being pretty much the most loved and somewhat enlightening aspect of Smash Bros. Overall, Melee did put out some good variety as far as the trophies go. Not sure as to what to say about Brawl's though. More solid selections, I suppose. More importantly, I myself have come up with a custom trophy list of my own for another game. But it'll only be available via PM here, of course. So to everyone I've sent it to so far, feel free to chime right in on anything about it. But if you're willing to post about any ideas for trophies you'd love to see next time, go ahead. Five max per post and explanations as to why attached. Along with that, this thread's open to any discussion pertaining to trophies. Have fun, but don't go overboard.  |

Might I add, here are a few particular trophies I'd have liked to see:
Wario (overalls)
Eh, why'd they pass this one up anyway?
Micaiah (Fire Emblem)
If there's Sothe, why not her? Kind of a one-can't-exist-without-the-other deal
Samus's Light Suit
Dark Suit was there, so...
Any other WarioWare characters
Let's hope they take the Melee approach with the trophies next time and not the weak Brawl approach.

There were some trophies not included like the Balloon Fight fish and the Polar Bear, the Condor, the Ultimate Chimera, the Baton of Wind, Epona, Makar (we have Medli, why not him too?), Deku Tree and Jabun (we have Valoo, why not them too?), Rosalina with the Lumas (wasn't she going to be an AT before she was cut?), Dr. Mario and Roy (we got trophies of Mewtwo and Pichu, why not them too?)

"Baton of Wind"? You mean the Wind Waker, right?
They should also bring in trophies of locations. Melee had a few like Peach's Castle, Mute City, etc. But Brawl had only Luigi's Mansion.
Maybe something like Corneria. Not the whole planet, but just a city portion of it.

The Wind Waker was strange to me not to see in Brawl. At first I thought a common pattern in Zelda and Pokémon trophies was that there were trophies of things or characters in the covers of the games, but that may not have been a prescriptive rule.
Other trophies could be peculiar characters from the games, like Raphael the Raven (remember how you fight him). The Negative Man from Mother 3, do you guys know him? That guy sure was weird and deserves a trophy IMO. Ooccoo's trophy is well deserved for this reason.
And most characters that are in interactive stages would have been expected to be as trophies, I agree. It's good to have a reference text about the universes you're fighting on.

Not just Luigi's Mansion, there was Pirate Ship and Halberd, too. I'd have liked to see trophies of 75m (or at least the Donkey Kong arcade cabinet with 75m displayed on the screen), Mario Bros. (or at least the Mario Bros. arcade cabinet with Mario Bros. displayed on the screen), Game & Watch (we had it in Melee), Pokemon Stadium 2 (we had it in Melee, too). Also, why no Wii trophy and no DS trophy (with Pictochat displayed on the dual screens)? We had the Gamecube trophy in Melee. And yes, I meant the Wind Waker. I don't know why I thought Baton of Wind. Wasn't that the Japanese name for TWW?  |

Being a game content enthusiast myself, I find it fun to go and delve into and imagine what else could work out as trophies.
How about a Captain Syrup trophy? With her, there wouldn't really be a need for a trophy of her lackeys or anything else. She would do most of the Wario Land series more than enough justice alone. And I'd rather see the Dinos from Wario World together, though. Or maybe even other Jewel Goons, grouped.
Also, Francis from Super Paper Mario. That guy was just awesome. Nuff said.
And yes, Baton of Wind is Wind Waker's Japanese name.

That's, for Brawl, just an alternative costume Wario. Since Brawl does not have Smash 2 trophies... Still, I do agree on this one.

Because the other parent of Sothe's children is Ike. And Ike is already in. =P Nah. I think this one is kind of random. And do you know Micaiah is not a well-received character? There are lots of Micaiah haters outside...
Actually I think one Tellius character should be in. Playable at best, or at least Assist.

One pf the problems in Smash Bros series, not only Brawl. To include "half of a pair" entries... Either make them both or two-in-one would be appreciated.

I'd like to see Tamagon and the Kirby Hats again, really. And I'm not talking the ones we got like Sword Kirby, I mean like those Kirby Hats 1 trophies which showed a selection of Kirbys in hats like Mario's. We got jipped out of Tamagon in Melee and Brawl had his nemesis, the Devil, so where the hell (heh, devil, hell...) did Tamagon go?
Also, I'd like to see Deku Link, Mona, Jimmy T., and a couple more Mother trophies, notably, I'd like to see Paula, Poo, Starman, Kumatora, Duster, Flint, and the Masked Man. Note I add one to Mother 3, because the Porky trophy could be argued to be from both games.
And where the hell did Yoshi's trophies go? I'd really like to see a Kamek and a Raphael Raven trophy.

If anything, the collections for each (or all) series next time should be longer than one page, but that's just about it.
Not to mention countable with more than one hand (looking at you, Kid Icarus, Yoshi's Island, and WarioWare).
And yeah, that's mighty peculiar. No Kirby Hat series in Brawl?
I'm pretty sure what they strive for is important, key characters, but last up are a few unexpected ones.

I guess the thing to do would be to take everything that appeared as a trophy in both Melee and Brawl, and maybe turn some of the things that appeared as Stickers in Brawl into Trophies. Naturally they'd have to add new trophies based on whatever stages, features and items they add in SSB4, but that's a given.
