That's cool. I'd have liked it better if it was on the Wii instead... its been about six years since we had a cel-shaded Zelda game on the console. The cel-shaded art style looked a whole lot better on the Gamecube than it did on the DS but its nice to see Nintendo is keeping Toon Link alive on the DS. Anyway, Spirit Tracks huh? Looks like Hyrule is entering the Industrial Age now.

The Industrial Age feel is going to take time to get used to. But what can I say, I'm excited.
Toon Link is my favorite Zelda character and the style along with Wind Waker are my favorites in the Zelda series. So this will be very fun. I hope it has wifi or co op.

I think it would be cool if it has telephones from LA. That would totally fit the Industrial Age theme. Telephones were invented in the 19th century after all.

Trains, steamboats, what's the difference? The Wind Waker line is about vehicles, objecting that they didn't buck the trend seems rather counter intuitive.

I'm not perturbed. This is coming from a series that has historically featured, among other things, a steamboat, a camera, a gear-based vehicle, the Bat-Grappler, and bombs that move on their own. Zelda's as steampunk as it gets, so a train doesn't shock me too much. My concern will be when Link becomes a Jedi.

Bah. Stupid Nintendo. I havn't even bought Phantom Hourglass yet. XD
I noticed earlier that on the Nintendo Channel it says "tenative title" after the games name. "Spirit Tracks" better damn well be tenative. Very stupid sounding in my opinion.

Well I wouldn't be as steamed (kill me) if Link weren't in that rediculous get-up.

Now that I agree on. The conductor's outfit makes him look incredibly stupid. I hope that the conductor's outfit is only beta.

And a guy in a green tunic with what looks like a skirt isn't ridiculous? Look, if this were a serious franchise that got goofy, I suppose I could understand. But it's not. It's Zelda, a franchise that has been light hearted even in its most serious installments.
And as for the train, the serious has had the implication of technology for a long, long time. Link's Awakening had telephones. Starting with Ocarina of Time, we got Water Temples that are pretty much based on the principals of hydraulics. Majora's Mask had an elaborate clock tower with all sorts of fancy stuff. Bombchu bombs are remote controlled; the hookshot is based on zipline tech; Ocarina had a complex windmill.
And of course, a train is nothing but steampowered. (At least with that design). And what did Phantom Hourglass have? A steampowered ship.

In the dungeons he doesn't have the outfit on. Normal Hero's Clothes.

Well I wouldn't be as steamed (kill me) if Link weren't in that rediculous get-up. I personally think Link looks cool in that get up, he really looks like the "lowly messager boy type." It was actually interesting to see Link kneeling before Zelda and to see him wear a hat smaller than his head. Now since it hasn't been mentioned, who thinks the music the great? Because I do.
