Everyone's always groaning about how the DS can't play GBC games. So, I created this cool idea. Using the two 64 bit processors, you could insert a DS card containing a Game Boy emulator. Then you stick in a GBC cart and play the night away. L & R could stretch the screen, Y brings you back to the main screen, X toggles the sleep, and Y & X switches the screen.
Linking Up I have a better strategy. A small device includes a large screen for picking up DS signals, and it has a link port, so you the DS sends a wireless signal, and it gets converted to cable.
Cool ideas?

You can't fit a GB/GBC cart into the DS, I tried.

If I already have a Game Boy Color, a Game Boy Advance and a Game Boy player, why should I care that my DS cannot run GB & GBC games? I'll tell you: I shouldn't and I don't care.
I think that if the DS is someone's first gaming console, he'll have a hard time finding a Game Boy game, so it's really not worth it to make a device like that. My point is that anyone who even has a Game Boy game probably has already got something to play it with.

The emulator would include an adaptor. And would you rather spend $30 on a cool emulator and $10 on an adaptor then $70 for a GBA SP?
More Neat Ideas:
You know Slingbox, a TV item letting you pass the TV to your PC? Mac, smartphone, and PPC versions are in the works, so why not make a version for PSP and DS? On the road, or in the plane, you can grab your DS, get a snack, and watch the footballl game on ESPN. But you only have 5 channels, so you bribe your rich grandfather to put the box in his home to watch 200+ channels. Or you can have an adapter letting the machine hook up to DVD players, and lets you control the DVD via DS, and lets you watch it.
Oh, and Kratos Sage? The peripheral would be SOLD SEPERATELY, so if it is released someday, and you don't like it, nbo one's forcing you to buy it!

I'm telling you, no one would buy an item like that for the DS. Or is there someone besides Molecule here that would buy it?
And that's just an overused line to defend yourself after a bad idea... "No one force you buy if you no like" sigh, re-heeally.

Hmm...
1. It was better than a hardware peripheral. 2. So TTF, you'd have a buy a used device, bid on it, hope it doesn't go up, have an extra device clunking around with you on trips, no backlight, and no auto-sleep? Huh?
How about my other ideas, like the link peripheral? It will work for GBA (Four Swords! GCN! eReader!)

If you don't have any but are planning on buying some, why don't you just buy the GBC used also? And if you're worried about space, why are you bringing all your GBC games? The auto-sleep isn't that important. The backlight would be nice though. Plus Nintendo is still selling GBAs. They wouldn't want to take away the few advantages it has over the DS.

True. I should probably buy a GBA SP for the backlight before it's gone.
Seriously, though, how do you like the Link idea?
