Just to say, I have 4 Nintendo WFC games. Only 1 of them actually works perfectly.
From what I see from the service, people who reside on the Internet (no joking) often raid the service and you can't even use it properly.
This is what I see for each game:
Mario Kart DS: You start with 4 racers, but by the end you'll end up having only 2. Sometimes, 1. And I often see racers acting strangely before disconnecting - a sign of unstable connection.
Tetris DS: People love cheating. There's just no way to ALWAYS have only I tetriminos. You always get the invincible star? Doubt it.
Super Smash Bros Brawl: Taunt matches. ONLY taunt matches exist.
Mario Kart Wii: I'm alright with it. People do actually compete, and while the game was spammed with pros in early stages, I can play it properly: You actually have to compete with other players, you actually win, you actually lose, and simple things like using inner curves for advantages won't work - because they're not simple computer players who's too obdient to the stage design. It was, and still is, a good online game.
I start to think if these games should be monitored. Problem is, how?
Mixing in CPs for Brawl, forcing them to enable items, disabling stages with gadgets, forcing them to actually try to hit opponents or they'll be forced to sign out, separating players by asking them what do they want before playing...

For MKDS, it's probably people cheating by using the "snaking" exploit. I haven't played SSBB online in ages because of lag, I have seen a taunt match via spectator mode though. I haven't played MKWii online in a while as well, I don't recall anything wrong with it's online.

Super Smash Bros Brawl: Taunt matches. ONLY taunt matches exist. What!? People set up matches only to constantly taunt? Why on earth would people want to do that? disabling stages with gadgets Technically, they'd only have to disable Final Destination (and maybe the Battlefield stage as well).....

I mean "without" gadgets. Whoopy typo.
Smash Wiki (which itself is already biased towards "professional" players) states that players would come to agreement if they want to start a taunt match. Now they don't do it - any match will be automatically a taunt match.
Perhaps we can arrange among NinDBers themselves for a battle or two so that I can actually enjoy the game's Wi-Fi feature. So far, Mario Kart Wii is the only thing I ever used its "With Friends" function - either with my relatives or with Boo Destroyer.
