Big BUMP!
Ace Attorney 5 officialy confirmed for the 3DS, as expected.
-Our favorite lawyer Phoenix Wright will be back as the main character.
-He has a new partner, a mysterious girl in yellow clothing who will be a central figure in the game.
-AA5 is said to take place one year after Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney.
-Case one involves Phoenix defending a high-school age girl.
-The prosecutor is Wiston Payne's younger brother.
-The AA Investigations/GK2 team are the ones developing the game, Motohide Eshiro is the producer, Go Yamazaki is the scenario director, and Noriyuki Iwadare is on the music.
-The game will have a demo at this year's TGS.
Also, AA5 will be in full 3D, I guess that was obviously expected, this coming for 3DS and all but still, farewell my beautiful AA 2D Sprites.
I do admit though, the 3D graphics in this game looks pretty good (even better compared to PL VS AA) from what I can see in the scans. Now we just have to see this game in motion and see if they are just as good as the 2D or even better.
Anyway, I'm very happy by this big peice of AA news...now, let's see if Capcom decides to, you know, give us THIS game outside of Japan.
Also, while I'm personally glad Phoenix Wright is back on the spotlight, its a little too bad that Capcom didn't give Apollo Justice a second chance. Maybe it was because AJ is arguably the most controversial game of the series for various reasons. I'm one of the AA fans who disliked AJ (as far as story and characters goes at least) and I honestly wouldn't miss Apollo or any of the AJ characters (save for Olga Orly, I would love to have her return) at all but I do hope for the sake of the AJ fans that Apollo, Trucy and Klavier shows up at least once.
Anyway, AA creator Shuu Takumi is appearently not involved with AA5 but that makes sense since he is busy with Professor Layton VS Ace Attorney.
Speaking of that game, the latest issue of this week's Famitsu (where all this AA 5 info comes from) features a full-page ad for PL VS AA on its back cover. The ad itself is a puzzle. When the puzzle is figured out, it seems that the game's release date is revealed. If the puzzle has been deciphered correctly, the game may hit Japan on Nov. 29th.

I love Wright's new design in this game (tat VEST!).
Anyway, time to keep myself away from any and all things AA5 (I will check out the TGS coverage... but definitely nothing after that), no spoilers for me, no sir.
