I'd make a Sea anemone electric myself. Or would that be to easy?
We have a vulture: Skarmory.
The Pachirusu idea is awesome! Why hasn't anyone else thought of that?
And dude. if there is a flamingo Pokemon, it better have species variation or have it's shiny be red- like a krill-less flamingo is in the wild. (Hm.... Maybe the Shiny Polar Bear should be purple- like that one unfortunate bear from a few years ago...)

SQUIRREL!
Okay, okay. I like this one: Dark / Flying for a Vulture. I dunno, the attribution with death makes dark seem more appropriate than fighting to me.
Fighting / Flying, though, does intrigue me. How about....
Terrave [TAYR-ah-vay] Hawk Pokémon
This Pokémon uses its keen eyesight to pinpoint its prey from up to a mile away.
Image unavailable
Evolution Terrave is a basic Pokémon that does not evolve.
Type: Fighting / Flying Height: 3'07" (1.1 m) Weight: 43.7 lb (19.8 kg) Egg Group: Flying Ability: Keen Eye
Stats: HP: 60 Attack: 120 Special Attack: 40 Defense: 80 Special Defense: 40 Speed: 120
Moves: Peck (Start) Growl (Start) Wing Attack (Start) Focus Energy (Level 4) Seismic Toss (Level 8) Slash (Level 12) Double Kick (Level 16) Bulk Up (Level 24) Aerial Ace (Level 28) Revenge (Level 36) Air Slash (Level 44) Brave Bird (Level 52) Sky Attack (Level 60)
By the way: Looks a bit like a harpy, but the face is more emotionless than angry. And look Ma, no hands!
Though there isn't a picture.

Yeah I always wanted a Fighting/ Flying combo. That's like the only type they haven't used for Flying haha!

Bumping this thread to see if anyone is getting a Pokemon in gen 5 based on something they've wanted for a while.
Methinks Emonga makes Koopaul happy, given his flying squirrel idea.

Koopaul nailed it The funny thing is that whenever you have the need to describe that Pokémon in human words, you'll end up saying "electric flying squirrel", which sounds the same as saying its in-game types. Since you revived this thread I'm going to copy some old lamemon I drew from 2005 to 2006, before Diamond and Pearl appeared (the ones on my first post are from that set actually) PumpshockPumpkin PokémonPumpshock likes to wander around in cold nights. If it meets a person, it will ask for trick or treat.Evolves from: (basic) Type: Grass/Ghost Egg Group: Plant Ability: Insomnia, Intimidate Moves: Astonish Withdraw Leech Seed Vine Whip Ingrain Slam Bullet Seed Moonlight Protect ---------- CalafrightScary PokémonThis Pokémon hides between pumpkin vines, waiting for someone to frighten and spit seeds at.Evolves from: Pumpshock (by Leaf Stone) Type: Grass/Ghost Egg Group: Plant Ability: Insomnia, Intimidate Moves: Mean Look (at the same level as Pumpshock's Moonlight) Will-O-Wisp (at the same level as Pumpshock's Protect) ---------- NeedlechinSea Urchin PokémonThis small Pokémon lives inside sea rocks. Stepping on it may result in pain and instant poisoning.Evolves from: (basic) Type: Water Height: 1' 8" (50.8 cm) Weight: 20 lb (9.07 kg) Egg Group: Water 3 Ability: Poison Point Moves: Poison Sting Water Gun Supersonic Selfdestruct Spikes Pin Missile Spike Cannon Hydro Pump Explosion ---------- PinodermSea Urchin PokémonPinoderm is a pacific Pokémon. If in danger, it will wiggle its stings around without moving from its spot.Evolves from: Needlechin (by level up) Type: Water Height: 3' 07" (109.22 cm) Weight: 80 lb (36.29 kg) Egg Group: Water 3 Ability: Poison Point Attacks: (same as Needlechin's) ---------- BarbmineExplosive PokémonSince this Pokémon is so dangerous, it's advised to be raised only by expert and good-hearted trainers.Evolves from: Pinoderm (by trading while holding Metal Coat) Type: Water/Steel Height: 5' 03" (160.02 cm) Weight: 250 lb (113.40 kg) Egg Group: Water 3 Ability: Detonate: If an opposing Pokémon hits it by using a contact move, then the defending Pokémon will faint and cause a lot of damage to the attacker.Attacks: (same as Pinoderm's) (Notice that Detonate already exists in some way, as "Aftermath". Its name in Japanese is Detonate) And this were my version of a Murkrow evolution and a Fire-type mirage Pokémon >_> We need to keep coming up with ideas even after Black and White get released.

So, basically an underwater Koffing? That'd be pretty cool, actually. I'd make the first two water/poison, though, since that befits what you said about it being poisonos. I've had an idea about an ant Pokemon that starts as a solider and evolved into a fire ant that is bug/fire for a while now. Maybe I'll finally give it a write up sooner or later. Also, this wasn't thread I was originally looking for. The one I was thinking of was this one. =/

That could work as a Tentacool substitute now that we'll get a rest from them, huh? Yeah, there were more ideas in that old thread.

Hey, make a wishlist of missing animals and I guarantee they'll be even more likely next time xD But Koopaul's full prediction of Emolga still shocks me.
There should be a peafowl Pokémon in the following generation. Really. It's one of the most recognizable examples of gender dimorphism in nature.
